Why hasn’t RHJ declared for draft yet?

I know he can come back but consensus is he won’t. Is there any chance? If he moved back to his natural three spot, with Reiber at the four, Cliff at 5, Mulcahy at 1…. All we would need is a back up big and a scoring guard in the portal and we are dancing.

This is the lineup I proposed in previous threads. And if Caleb came back? Good team.

I agree with you. Have to figure that the more time that goes by with him not hiring an agent, the more of a punchers chance there could be for a return to RU. If there’s zero chance, why wait?

Caleb is very different. Regardless of where any of the talking heads hypothesized his head was at following the ND game, he’s at a different point in his development. First time he’s going through the process as he was rehabbing every other off season. He could receive potentially decision shifting feedback when testing the waters - one way or the other. For him, rushing to hire an agent wouldn’t make sense. RHJ has already tested the waters and been told what he needs to do.

Average G League pay check: $35K/year. Average G League career: 3 years. Much better off learning to eat food wrapped in grape leaves and playing abroad.

I’m just thinking he didn’t like the way the season ended. Money won’t be a concern with him, so why not just come back and cement your legacy?

If Caleb comes back he’s the two. Move Mulcahy to the bench as a point guard/point forward. And find a scoring point in the portal

What am I missing? The season just ended a week ago. BTW Peter Kiss declared today.
The point is it’s been a week. If you know 100% your going pro there’s every reason to get an agent in place as quickly as possible and get right down to business.

What is the rush? I am sure if RHJ knows what he is doing Pike already is more than aware and that is all that matters so that there is a path forward. Honestly its been a week since they lost, not sure if they had spring break in there as well, he is after all a college kid lol. If he is undecided well than it is not going to be a decision he will rush. Recall he and geo took til the 11th hour to announce their return after testing the NBA draft waters.

Apparently he was gonna declare straight away but didn’t want to upset fans
