Let's do a little exercise, try to visualize the 1 or 2 personality traits the all time great college basketball coaches, specifically on the sidelines, and compare with our coach. Not sure about y'all, but strikingly, I found no similarities. Looks flustered, never questions calls, doesn't scorn players.
He is a nice man, and perhaps would make a nice father-in-law, but he is a child. The hell with the 3-year courtesy for new coaches. This was just never the right hire for a number of reasons that are being discussed.
Side note - I believe deep down he would be relieved if he was let go. He had a perfect life before this and had no chip on his shoulder.
