Is it an upset if a #25 home team beats a #24 team which was favored by 1? What about if the spread was 2 points? 3 points? Pickem?
Does it continue to count as an upset if a Team A (20th ranked) beats Team B (ranked #2) in the 1st game of the season, but Team A ends the season ranked 15 spots ahead of Team B ?

I'm not trying to start a new discussion, I just think that "upset" is misapplied too much these days.
