Wish we had them this year instead of the Buckeyes. Not that we beat them either, it just might not have been so ugly.

Wis gets Mich, Iowa gets PSU, Neb gets OSU... then the same 6 trade. It’s because those 6 have the data points over a long period. It’s the B1G equity scheduling scheme

The next round 2022 to 2025 is a bit different with a random draw allegedly.

2024 is a schedule from hell.

@ Michigan
@ Penn State
@ Wisconsin
@ Iowa
Ohio St.

My understanding is what I described was locked in, then a rotation for others in the other division to make sure everyone gets everyone else (to pretend it is one conference)

Once we figure out the rhyme and reason for football conference schedules, take a look at baseball year over year. Makes zero sense.

Everyone is locked in for 4 years playing a team from the opposite division...

It will take 20 years after the 2025 season for every one to trade off for 4 years.... They drew names out of a damn hat the last time they did it and Nebraska ended up with Michigan and Ioway ended up with Rutgers and Wisky ended up with tOSU..

That is the schedule Delaney pitched during the TV contract negotiations. Ridiculous, a total money grab.

We also play Oklahoma for a couple years.

This was our year to take advantage of the schedule, and so far it’s not going too well.

Was just gonna say this. Be careful what you wish for. Go 12-0 including a blowout win over a top 20 Northwestern team on their field and a win over a ranked Wisky team in Camp Randal, but because you don't have OSU on the schedule Colin Cowherd and his moron listeners call you the fake ID of college football. Do you want the big stage or not?

No you said the same 6 trade... If this was the case Iowa would play Michigan from 2022-2025..

So we’re not..

It doesn't bother me that tOSU is on the schedule, might as well play the best and take your lumps or find ways to compete against them.

seems like every two years everyone in the big should play each other.

Now we're talking 10 conference games for that to happen.

The league is too big for it to "feel" like a "conference".
ok every 2 1/2 years, seems fair and would still feel like a conferance. just put each team on a rotation maybe michigan one year osu the next, penn state one year, wisconson the next...ect..so one year wouldn't be barren, and the next wouldn't be overloaded

I'd be on board with that. At least would have some semblance of balance.

they could make it work, and then take in consideration travel, so one year the games are not all east or west..a mix of the two. the big network would have a even flow of big match ups. I think you could program all them factors it into a computer and it would put out a balanced schedule for all the teams. even if it all shifts again and they make just 4 super conferences.
