or below average Defensive Coordinators? This DC gave up tons of points at UCF and he will continue to give up points because he is a average DC that can't stop anybody with a pulse.

Today was a little hard to swallow because they were playing more conservative to start (which is usually good), and then had to get more aggressive after Iowa put up 14pts. I think they are trying to walk a fine line between being overly aggressive and being bled to death. Probably took too long to adjust and maybe the game plan wasn't right to begin with. Iowa's offensive line dictated pretty much everything.

More turnover is the answer. It will really impress the recruits.

No matter who the D coach is, Nebraska will never have a shut down D with this offense.

Can you at least let Chin get his players in? He only had 2 years at UCF and only 1 here so far. Guy has no pass rushers this year. Let's hope one of the young guys develop.

Maybe we should try giving a single guy/system a chance to develop players rather than fire coordinators for struggling with the same players that the other guys did.

I can't say if he's the right guy or not. We really just don't know right now. The talent is really sub par to almost average in some places and the S&C will take time to catch up, IMO

1. Give Duvall another year to get the front 7 enough strength and quickness to be physical suck up blockers and fill gaps

2. More experience and talent in the Back 4. We need more length and speed (seems to be coming, but will it be ready next year?)

3. Hope Daniels is ready to play some extensive snaps and control the middle of the line. The more blockers he can suck up at the point of attack, the better this D will look

4. Get more hybrid guys and build depth.

I think we can run a 3-4, but I think we need a lot of depth and hybrids to enable multiple packages. Against teams like Iowa, maybe a hybrid DE/LB in the 3-4 who can get in the box and really take up a gap. Similarly a Safety/lB hybrid for spreads, etc.

I will time, though. I just hope to continue to see improvement.. I do think Chin will need to think about strategies to match up to the variety of offenses we'll see in the B10 and in bowl games
