Loved that slo-mo replay! Really great view of everyone carrying out their assignments!

Eager to go out and hit someone.

If we looked we could find plays like that that tell some people why Falck and Leiwer play as well. Falck had some nice catches Saturday night. They're not putting walk ons out there because they "like the kids".

Blocking by receivers and TE's is one thing that's certainly gotten better this year. Have to give Lubick credit for that.

I agree there’s been a lot of good perimeter blocking- better than OL. I’d like to see us get our RBs on outside more with designed runs (non-option).

Toure sustained a great block to free Yant on his 65 yd run.
I’ve seen Manning make some awesome blocks.
Martin, Falck, Betts, Liewer have all chipped in.

Not slighting the other walk ons, just that Brewington seems to be very enthusiastic about blowing defenders up.

If the other team EVER sees a Husker team put out all the white possession receivers along with the scrappy receiver/TE that loves to hit guys, you are getting a run all the way. Just saying. Sadly that sentence reminded me of that Orange Bowl we played the Miami dream team and they put in the seldom used other than blocking on a running play receiver Ben Zaicek(?). Dude did his job of blocking on some play and got destroyed by Ed Reed I believe. The kid got murdered on primetime. I felt bad for him.

If we're at the two-yard line, we better be running it no matter what.

Kids a selfless player. Deserves every rep he can get. Great story really. It's what Nebraska's all about. Work ethic and reward.

Adding Yant to more goal line stuff could help in that department as well. He rumbles like a man who knows what he’s bringing.

this is super apparent in real time

he does not let off the gas going into contact

love it and good for him earning playing time after being perhaps the last guy added prior to the season. hope he's got more decleaters in him as the b1g season rolls along!

They didn't block those guys, they rolled them. Both ended up on their backs! Holy *****!

I like Yant, but Rahmir destroyed a LB on that play as well. Nice to have two backs right now that are running with a purpose.

I bet during film study, coaches point to plays like that and say, You want More PT? Do this.

Are his parents wealthy? I just feel like they would be.
"Oh, Chancellor, dear. How was your harp lesson?"
"Mother, I play football, not harp."
"Oh, dear me. Football is so plebeian."
"But mother, all the kids make fun of me. I had to go out for football if I wanted to date hot girls."
"Hot girls? None of the proper ladies I bred you to court would deign to share tea with a football player."

Dude sounds like he grew up in a mansion playing at Creighton Prep but plays like he grew up in a junkyard playing for Plattsmouth.

Anybody catch the Illegal Hands to the face, neck that wasn't called? Teddy just about got his trachea punctured by the NW right end.
