There are 32 games. As best I can tell, 14 are on TV. Every game has never been on tv for the regional.
I don’t see how anyone who likes college baseball and especially wants to watch us play can do without the ESPN app. Well worth it!
All I can do is ”live stats”…no espn+ for me
I usually have it on during games anyway, and with any method of imagination stimulation, you can visualize what’s happening.

ESPNU is carrying the first game of our regional but then understandably switching to the LA regional for UCLA.
The ACC Network (ie, ESPN execs) decided to air the Miami-Troy game instead.
The Softball CWS starts at 6:30p EDT, and I'd prefer it if ESPN/ESPN2 were also carrying regional games until then instead of standard programming, but nope.

There are 14 on linear cable on Friday: 4 on ESPN2, 4 on ESPNU, and 3 each on SECN and ACCN.
Originally, there were going to be 11 games on linear, but since the Knicks eliminated the Cavs early and made ESPN available Friday night, WCWS got moved to the WWL, 3 games originally going to ESPNU went to ESPN2 (including wolpfack vs UCF... go Knights!), and 3 games originally streaming only on ESPN+ went to ESPNU.
In the 14 games on linear, 7 feature $EC teams, including 3 games on SECN. The ACC has the second most teams on linear with 5, including 3 on ACCN. One game on ESPN2, at noon, features $EC vs ACC violence (Kentucky/Wake). No other conference has more than two teams on linear cable on Friday. Surprisingly, only 1 game moved to linear from streaming mid-week involved an $EC team (Missouri State/Arkansas). Perhaps the most interesting game added to linear mid-week is the classic Pac-2 grudge match between Washington State and Oregon State (3:00 ESPNU).

In a way, with this decision they're saying "we don't think that game will be that interesting." I hope they're right.
I’ve not seen the word linear used so much since…. well , a few mornings ago, when I woke up refreshed and attempted to describe my morning wood condition to my wife
ESPN+ is worth its weight in gold for any college baseball junky.
