Who's the most improved in 22

We haven't been accustom to multi quality players coming back since OAD became the big deal. There's room for all the players coming back to make a major step up, including Oscar. Who do you think improves the most etc.? If Collins really steps up and Toppin comes back and improves we could be in for a exciting year. Wheeler could be a surprise, being in a system for a second year usually means improvements and that could be a big key. IMO we're a good small forward from being outstanding. Hoping Livingston, the transfer and Fredrick can solve that problem. Some don't care for Ware, not me, I think he's an important link, not just on the court but also in the locker room. He's a capable plug for Oscar if he gets in fowl trouble and he also will be improved.

Fowl trouble.

I think Toppin could be the player that takes us to another level. He has impact potential in so many areas. He can run the floor so well, has potential to put points on the board and defend multiple positions. I expect him to average 12 to 14 a game and get 7+ rebounds(there aren't that many to go around with Oscar out there)

I agree with a few on here, we need Toppin to step up to make us better. But, I agree that Wheeler needs to shoot all summer, and Collins needs to put on weight and muscle just to stay in the game. Ware needs to put on more muscle and work on his post moves. Well hell, seems like we need a lot for 22!
Before Wheeler shoots all summer, he needs to change his shot!
If he shoots that no-arc push shot, he’s making about all he can already.

I think Toppin will get all the publicity for most improved as he will be a starter and likely double his statline, however I think Collins will actually be the most improved, but it won't show up in the stats. Ideally, he can come back in 23/24 and be the starter.

I'd like it to be our coach. I'd like to see more flexibility on offense and defense and better in game, game management of the clock, inbounds plays so on.....love to see him stop being so stubborn and use all the knowledge he has to his advantage

I think it will be Wheeler. I think he is out to get a pro contract and will have even more of a chip on his shoulder.

He will be one of the top PGs in the sport in 2022

Toppin will take a huge jump too as a starter as will Collins off the bench

Lots of players these days shoot a set shot. Particularly from the 3 pt line. It drives me crazy to see it.

Color me the very most surprised if Collins does much of anything. Have nothing against the guy and would love to be proven wrong.

But I keep seeing slightly better Marcus Lee game with slightly better Marcus Lee highlights on a shorter and skinnier guy. And I keep reading Kevin Durant in the making.

Will believe when see.

Think you’re right on it. Still think we need 2 more. If the unimaginable happens and Sharpe plays look out! We might have 2 of the top 5 players in college. Fingers crossed
Sharpe is long gone, no way he falls out of the top 5 IMO and even if he did, it’s clear to me they played this ordeal to leave ASAP and his handler wants to get paid.

It's encouraging that the last third of the season Wheeler's shooting really improved, especially from 3. Hopefully that cares over in 22.

I can't imagine, but I sure hope it's Collins. One of the near-universal complaints about our defense is the number of straight line drives it gives up. A Collins in tip-top condition would stifle those. A Collins who likes to deflect shots rather than volleyball slam them would be even better.

Wonder how much money in the bank Sharpe’s handler has currently? Wonder if his decision to lie was crack-related. His behavior does remind me of crackheads I’ve ran into before.

Collins, he will be our 2nd best player
Not a damn chance.

Love him or hate him…..Wheeler is an experience, proven P5 starter. Reeves averaged 20ppg, CJ is an experienced proven Big 10 contributor.

Collins has done literally nothing, as of yet, to make anyone think he’ll be our 2nd best player.

My only concern about Livingston is will He shoot well enough from the charity line to be in the game at crunch time because if he can I believe He is the real deal!
