Who's renewing tickets?

Don't know how to make up a "polling thread", but was wondering what the sentiment on renewals is. Renew no matter what? Only if Ash is gone? Would bringing Schiano back seal the deal?

hmmmmm. Nah I will. Might be cutting down though. My son's married and doesn't go anymore and my nephew will probably be a freshman next year.

have 2 only renewing one. @RUScrew85 hardly goes to games so no point in paying for an extra ticket.

During the Ash years have gone from 5 to 2. I really want to give up the last 2 but I spent so many years building priority points, etc. I’ll probably drop to 1. I did give up parking this year and I haven’t had an issue getting a pass for the games I’ve been able to make.

If Ash is retained will be renewing 8 of our current 14 tickets - but will be downgrading everything to get out of seat surcharges and parking lot priorities. Will be able to do all that on stubhub for pennies on the dollar.

If RU is rational and Ash is fired (and a decent hire is made) everything will be renewed.

Im guessing the #nomattewhat gang actually don't have season tickets. It tough for them to leave moms basement

Either that or they are the problem with Rutgers football. Blindly giving money to support this ahole Ash is precisely the worst thing to do. Nothing will ever change if there are actually people who think like they do.

Thanks Tony. I knew that as a member of the patriarchy I was responsible for all the evils of society, but now I'm responsible for Rutgers football too. Life just keeps getting better.

All I’m saying is nothing will change if we continue to think like you do. We need to send a message. Preserving your priority points doesn’t send a message. I get it, you don’t want to lose them and you love Rutgers. I love Rutgers too, so much so that I know in my heart of hearts showing up to watch this actually hurts Rutgers more than it helps.

If they keep Ash I’m dropping from 6 to 2, just to keep priority points. I literally can’t find anyone who is willing to go to a Rutgers game anymore, even with free tickets. Kids basically laugh when you ask them. Kids of all ages know they are a laughing stock. No idea how Ash is expected to recruit from this point forward.

I was thinking of wearing a paper bag over my head as a kind of protest though like the Saints' fans did when they were so bad. (Remember the Aint's!) Maybe we'll be Silent Knights.

I have no idea what our group is going to do. We all think things are bad now but it’s about to get 1,000 times worse with the schedule they have to play.

We discussed this yesterday at the tailgate.

Surprisingly, it was 12 of 15 (one showed up later) to keep the tickets and support if Coach Ash remains,
or a better replacement magically appears.
One guy said this is not like any other sport, "it takes stamina to recruit and build a B1K worthy football program".

I voted not to renew, but.....i go with consensus.

You need a timeout.
Stop calling the coaches vulgar names.
Criticize their performance all you want. Say they are doing a bad job. Fine.
Stop with the vulgarity.

Why do you care about priority points? You can get parking anytime you want, you can get seats anytime you want. Are you holding on in the hopes that in 15 or 20 years we're good again?

I’m out. With the thousands I’ll save on tickets, parking, and donations I could probably fly and watch every Saturday night marquis game for less. I’m already planning this as I don’t even want to be in NJ when PSU takes over our stadium.
