There is a lot of people on GLP-1’s and a lot of them don’t need to be. I was hanging out with a girl who is by all accounts a beautiful person. Tall, thin, well proportioned, etc. She’s on a GLP-1 to quiet her food noise and has lost way too much weight in my opinion. She still looks good but she’s quickly moving into Kate Beckinsale territory. GLP-1’s will become as destructive as they are a positive for people who actually benefit from them.

There are several online compounding Rx legit options. 52 year old wife started tirzepitide from Embody and got it locked for $378/3mo. Price stays the same. Take a look at it.

Been on it 3 weeks and lost 7lbs already. Started 154, now 147…. Plans to get to her wedding playing weight of 120 from 25+ years ago. Wouldn’t surprise me to get below that based on the response so far, like 115. She’s 5’5”.

Appreciate it. While I haven’t lived elsewhere, I do work with folks from all over. Run national commercial teams. Have worked for international CEO/boss. Have employees coast to coast. Clients coast to coast. I travel extensively and visit other cities multiple times per month. We also have lots of friends who aren’t from here. We’re not snobby about that at all.

I’d say my perspective is quite different from someone who is from here who works locally as well and maybe still hangs out with the same friend group from HS. Heck, even my wife’s best friend from HS was here last night and she’s a lib.

I think that Trump agreement with some companies has reduced glp1 prices and new oral pill is supposedly going to be cheaper than the jabs. Medicare enrollees can get it for $50/month, supposedly.. so I guess while not everybody's plans will have a price reduction, some will benefit, some want.

My opinion about Trump Rx is that it might help people who don't have insurance but that's about all. Insurance companies have negotiated prices similar to what Trump was able to do so there's not a lot of savings for most people.

Sadly I agree with this for the most part. I have a friend with type 1 diabetes who uses GLP-1s to help reduce insulin requitements. I'm sure there are many other examples where this drug is helpful but I don't think it's a replacement for proper diet and exercise.

I got beat up on the vaccine thread when I said I was concerned about the number of medications going into people's bodies. It doesn't mean that I oppose all vaccines or medications. It just means that at some point putting more and more medicines into the body can't be good.
