Ms Skip and I had what you would describe as a major difference of opinion.
(Been married 41 years).
We’re having a July party in neighborhood tomorrow that’s been in plans for 2 weeks.
I woke up an said 17 the party and stayed home relaxing…
Meanwhile c spire internet went out
(Their mistake) but cannot have a technician until Thursday???
Help a brother out? Any reliable internet options that can be arranged maybe Monday?

Guess you stayed home drinking. Good news though (maybe)…the party is tomorrow; you can still make it.

T Mobile 5g home internet. It’s a box that receives a cellular signal. When I got mine you could use it for 30 days before paying and take it back. After 41 years, you know better!

Damn. Thursday??? I know it’s not cool, but Comcast/Xfinity is hard to beat. Except maybe on price.

Wait...do you not have a backup internet provider? Sheeit. I've got a 17ing auto failover from my primary fiber to secondary cable. I haven't had an internet outage in years. How do you people 17ing live?

For a business, yeah. It’s essential. For home, Xfinity goes out so rarely it’s would be a waste of money.

Agreed. I have it because I work from home and have for over a decade and can't tolerate an extended outage even if rare.

41 years.... I assume you're 60+. Even at 50+ and nowhere near 41 years of marriage... I'm over going to large parties. I will go if I know most of the people and then it will be long enough to eat and Irish exit.

a party that I dnk many people... naw dog, I'm good. Ain't even trying to make small talk with strangers at this age.

No telling what this little episode is going to cost Ole Skip. He’ll be paying for this financially, coitusly, and mentally for months.

The equipment you need may need to be shipped. I have Tmobile & Starlink. My first tmobile box was picked up in the store, the 2nd took 3 days to ship. Starlink took over a week.

Cspire offers the same type wifi box as tmobile if phone service is still working. I'd start there.

Also certain T-Mobile cellular plans include T-Satellite or whatever it's called that uses Starlink to connect when cellular isn't an option.

Be prepared with an alternate address if you know of one. I’m in OB and it works great but they have limits on how many services for an area and they may tell you it’s unavailable for your address. I used an old address in North Ms for mine. This was a year ago so it may be fine now.
