Bequeathed my daughter with an NU Jersey with 73 on it. She LOVES it. I’ve had it forever...think someone gave it to me way back. She asked who wore 73. Need your help. Who wore 73?

Thanks, all!

Kelvin Clark comes to mind. One of the better Husker O-linemen of his era.

Was All Big-8, made some All-America teams, got drafted in the 1st round and spent 7 years in the NFL.

My all-time favorite would be Bob Lingenfelter. I can get his autograph for you if you want it.

Not at all. Fun fact. Also, please don't "pull a muscle" on this. Just the info is worth having, and I'd hate to bug the guy...

No problem at all. I can try to have him personalize it for your daughter - if you care to go that far. But, may not want to give out personal information on the board. Let me know how you want me to send you when I get that accomplished.

The other "fun fact" is that I think Lingenfelter and Crenshaw switched jersey numbers. Looks like Bob had #73 and Crenshaw #70, then switched at some point.

Thanks, Tim. Shoot me an email at: [email protected], and I'll reply.
