A bit anticlimactic. Wasnt really any drama except for Spieths run at the lead. Reed got a slice of fortune in the final round and made it to the clubhouse....just.

It's tough to play with a big lead. Don't want to give shots away

Very good points about Rahm: a great talent but needs to calm down a bit over his poor shots...

Rahm is incredibly talented. He’s going to win a Major eventually.

I thought it was a pretty fun Sunday. There were definitely storylines. A lot of players played some incredible golf....most notably Speith. I liked how Fowler stepped up after a slow start and got rolling, too. But, it came down to Patrick Reed. Sure, he had the lead going in, but I thought he answered his share of bells today...on a day where he didn’t play particularly well. Also, making two pars on 17 & 18, on those two holes under that kind of pressure....is impressive.

I consider myself a gentleman of the game....but I’d be lying if I didn’t say I slightly enjoyed watching Rory struggle today.

I don’t want to speak for others but in my opinion Rory is very outspoken and that can rub people the wrong way. I have played and followed golf most of my life he is a great player and opinionated about a lot of things. Just my opinion

I hear ya.
Man for me, Spieth just rubs me the wrong way. He’s obviously tremendous, but I can’t find myself liking one thing about him. Almost everything he does irks me.

Spieth is as gifted a they come. I have a ton of respect for him. His little sister has Autism and he has a great relationship with her. I laugh all the time about the OAD topics about hoops here. You know who was OAD.....Spieth and I don’t think it bothers him one bit. He is a freak of nature who has tremendous game

What has Rory done that’s so wrong? I’m asking because I honestly only follow golf but so much.

He really hasn't done anything, to be honest. And it's pretty petty on my part. But two years ago when the Ryder Cup was at Hazeltine, I just thought he played the villain role quite well. I was there for three days that week and I know Rory was playing around a lot. For some reason, though, it rubbed me the wrong way. Like I said, I know it's petty, but now I tend to over-analyze every little thing he said. I've built up this dislike in my mind.

Having said all of that, I can also clearly see how the European folks think the exact same about Patrick Reed. He's a very emotional guy. It's just that his emotions tug at my heart strings more than Rory's.

I have no problem with Reed at all, but I found myself hoping he missed that last putt so I could see Fowler and him in a playoff. I love Fowler and really want to see him break through at a major.

Fowler really has a lot of class. He makes that birdie putt on 18, acts like it was just another putt and walks away. Then he was waiting to congratulate Reed. It would be nice to see him get at least one major.
Golf is in good shape.

I’m pretty sure my dislike of Spieth is petty too.

I was hoping for the same thing, and at the same time, thinking how I would have really felt sorry for Reed to have it slip away from him. I can't imagine how it would feel to be that close to the masters and have it jerked out from under you. Between the two though, I am a bigger Fowler fan than Reed fan. Like both players though.

I've seen Fowler do that a lot. I am a big Jason Day fan and I believe it was Fowler waiting on him after he won the players
