Who were the Refs for BBM?

It seems it would be a good idea to bring in some SEC refs that we may face during the season to officiate BBN scrimmage and the blue and white game. I don't know if it's legal with the NCAA but it couldn't hurt to snooze them a few times a year with the way refs call us usually

Now, if I were Pope I'd ask them to call the Purdue scrimmage pretty tight. I'd want to see how my dudes react to some ticky tack calls in the face of adversity.

I just think rubbing shoulders with the refs we'll be seeing couldn't hurt. Even take them to dinner and ask their opinions about the game. Refs have hated us for too long and I feel Pope can turn the leaf with some of them.

Wouldn’t help a bit. Those eye drops they use to mess up their vision are slow acting. You don’t get any benefit working with a ref that can actually see.

There are at least one and maybe more SEC refs who are UK graduates. They can't ref at any UK game, just as refs who attended other SEC schools can't ref at their games. However, this rule does not apply to exhibition games, and the one UK grad ref I know about lives in Lexington, no travel is required.
