That remains to be seen, but they were competitive in some years before BD got there. I think they went to the final four four years before BD got there, so if they get the right coach, I don't think they will be "doomed".

Uf is done . SOOO happy . APril has sucked as a UK fan but this makes up for alot ( not the Wisky loss though ) . UF is the worst . 10x worse then UL and IU put together.

Duke will definetly go down a few notches but still be a top 10 program ( are top 2 right now ) . UF was a top 10 program ( in wins and such the past 15 years ) with top 200 support now they are going back to average .

Shyatt, Pitino, Miller would be the top picks, but there will be others no one thinks about. Donovan brought name recognition to the program so I fully expect they hire a good coach. No one can replace Donovan, but they aren't going into the cellar, they'll still be in the top half of the SEC.

I hope they're not done. A good team & program in an otherwise crappy basketball conference. I hope they get a good coach.

I think their #1 target would be Gregg Marshall. #2 would be Archie Miller, and #3 would be Ricky Jr.

#1 would have been Shaka Smart had he not already taken the Texas job. I think that Marshall passes on Florida and Archie Miller takes the job. Just a guess, but it'd be a great hire for them and Miller is someone who can continue the winning tradition at Florida that Billy D started. He'll have Kasey Hill, Dorian Finney-Smith, Devin Robinson, Chris Chiozza, and Alex Murphy as the key players returning for Florida. It'll be a tough first season, but I think they'll eek out some wins and by season two Miller will have them rolling again.

BTW, I love the idea of Cal reaching out to Pel to become his new assistant here at UK. He's been a great recruiter for Billy D in the past and it'd be nice to get him back into the fold here at UK.

I don't understand this. Don't we want quality teams in our conference to prepare us to play in the tourney. If it's just us and a bunch of terrible teams, it really does us no good.
