Mike really bashed him!
Funny thing is he bills himself as a "Distinguished Alum" in teaching a Master Class on an Intro to Law School.

There is a Hall of Distinguished Alumni, and Richard Kent ain't in it. Another stretch by Richard.

What's next-Richard writing his name on a wood panel at Yale University and saying that he "was on a panel at Yale University"?

It’s one thing to make the claims he does if you are an anonymous person. His name and “credentials” are advertised in his social media profile. He is a person that claims to be an expert in the sports/entertainment and NIL field. He claims to be a “professor” sharing his expertise with the next generation. Can’t see anyone seeking out his guidance or insight.

For the record, Rashad Kent was a 6'7" kid from West Viginia who played center for us and could jump like crazy and block shots from the guys 6'11". Couldn't make a foul shot to save his life.
If only he could've shot just 60 percent at the line. I'm not even sure he was taller than 6-5. The guy was just strong as hell - I remember him muscling Troy Murphy and Eddie Griffin out of the paint and practically into the first row.

An absolute beast around the hoop. He led the Big East in FG % one year. He avg'd 10 PPG and 10 RPG his senior year.

Changing sports, he was signed as a FA by the Houston Texans in the NFL as a TE. where he played in 9 games, starting 4.

He bounced between the NFL and NFL Europe but injuries ended his short career.

His life took a bad turn and spent 3 years in prison on Drug and Weapon charges.

Obviously, this is a different Kent

One of my all-time favorite Scarlet Knights. An outstanding leaper with good hands who almost averaged 2 steals, 2 blocks, and 2 assists to go along with those 10 points and 10 rebounds his senior year, when he was named second team All Big East.

Kent was the one on here who said Darryl Watkins to RU "take it to the bank".

Watkins went to Syracuse.

That was likely 20 yrs ago give or take.
I think that was actually me. I still think it was good info but things changed. I don't think I've done that since, but on the internet things live forever.

Perhaps he was repeating what you said, but it was absolutely him who kept posting it as if his own.

There are 86,400 distinct times of day down to the second per day. I am going to buck the trend of the an even broken clock is right twice a day and say that this report falls in the other 86,398 times per day that a broken clock is wrong.

He will be gone by the bye week after Indiana though I still think Saturday night is possible if USC is an absolute disaster.
USC looks suspect on defense…given how playoff selection goes, “optics matter”. I can see usc wanting to make a bold statement and that means a beating nastier than freakin UMass. Score more than 50 and give fewer than 20. Riley has no reason to be “nice”

He was a guy (who also used to post on these boards years ago) who had some good basketball intel 20-25 years ago, but even that seems have dried up to judge by his rate of accuracy. He still goes through the charade, though, for some reason.

Never knew anything about football, even Rutgers football.
He's an azz and always has been but guys like you and bac kissed his backside. Now you're repenting,? What a laugh.

You wanna know what a real laugh is? Berating fans who saw the writing on the wall and wanted change. Your posts in this thread capture it well:

What? I don't think I've ever said a word one way or the other about him on a Rivals message board before this thread. Certainly not here, as I try to tread lightly in my neighbor's home.

Maybe you've got me confused with someone else.

RU72 was in the loop on hoops until the past few years IMO, but it's hard to remain relevant when you're closing in on 80 and he's never been known to be a great source on football, but folks saying he's never right are wrong, too. It's easy to predict Greg gets fired soon given the terrible start, so that's not a "scoop" IMO. If Greg does get fired, he can blame his inability to recruit good QBs (especially dynamic dual threat guys who always kill us - how could he not see how important that is?) as his biggest failure - most important position on the field and apart from AK, they've all been duds.

Maybe just maybe it is the way they are forced to play that is the constant here. Never letting them run and a playbook that is so vanilla you stand them back there like statues or run this hold the ball into your running back until he gets tackled crap.

Granted, few have had much success after leaving RU so there's that consideration. Regardless. His history at the position is woeful for sure.

Forced to play THE BALL IS THE PROGRAM. Low risk, low reward (points), boring brand of football. If Greg was an investment advisor, he would put his clients in all in 2% yield CDS.

High risk, high reward, exciting brand of football. This is where coaching matters. See Jeff Brohm. He talks about this in his pressers and post game interviews. He is an excellent coach, and his teams are fun to watch. Brohm would be a mix of index funds and tech stocks.

Agreed that will be the week if he is fired before season's end because it is the only BYE. It doesn't make sense to make a change during a game week. Making coaching changes while preparing for a game would not likely provide the result anyone wants. Make the change in the BYE week makes sense. Also (don't laugh), Rutgers theoretically can still win the National Championship this year (stop laughing!). Finish 11-2 and the B1G Champ gets an automatic bid this year even if the voters can't forgive the UMass and BC losses. If you are firing Schiano during the season, you will wait until the season is a washout. 1-4 with home losses to UMass, USC, and Indiana ensures that.

You are still a jo and as I pointed out in the past ,a liar--- have you given up your season tickets or stopped having any interest in college sports --all stuff you adamantly promised over a year ago.By the way I'm hoping your hoarding problem has subsided. And you certainly defended Kent, mainly because I was calling him out. You're still a phoney.
