Would love to have him commit. Looks to be a player and has plenty of reputable offers. The issue is do they still take him after Allen committed?

I think they offered Allen based of course on his film and the motor he shows but also the fact that if you can pack a lot more muscle on his already huge frame you're going to have something really, really special. That's going to take time.

A player like Scott could see the field faster as he seems closer to reaching his potential.

Both on the field in three years produces the same conundrum faced late in GS first run: "We don't know anything about this backup QB (for the fourth time this season as the starter leaves with a limp) Don't we prepare for these things???"

The crazy thing is that it's with the same number of recruits as the big guys. It used to be that to be in the Top 20 RU had to have 10 more guys committed than the others. As the class rounded out the others schools woul pass us by.
This time we have about the same number. Not saying that the final class will be Top 5, but 25-30 teams wont be passing us by as in prior years.
If the staff can get these commits inked as well as some others we are in the lead for, this could be the class that brings RU back to where Schiano had it before.
Schiano was a great hire and he picked the right assistants to get the job done.

From the tweet, looks like he was at Ocean Place during his visit to New Jersey—

That's a nice club with spa. If the kids had full access to the facilities for hanging out for the day (and evening), that would have made a big impression on a young man not from the shore and hard to compete with when giving a tour of East Lansing or Happy Valley or whatever. Combine that with NYC and there is a reason we don't necessarily lose kids when they go on officials to other places.
