Who here has the highest baseball IQ?

I know it's not me. As a general fanbase we have a higher than average baseball IQ (similar to UK in basketball) but lately reading these posts I'm losing faith

I caught for 10 years before getting moved to the infield in high school. I could teach u plenty about framing pitches, bunt coverages, 1st and 3rd situations, relay alignments, fielding technique, base running technique, etc.
I don’t know much about them launch angles or spin rates, though.

Not pointing at Bruce, but just because you played college or even MLB doesn't mean you baseball IQ is high, just your talent level. Google Pirates vs Cubs for an example from this week.

I have read the Ron Polk Playbook multiple times. I have two copies one autographed by Ron Polk Himself. I know what you are saying that you could be a great player and not have a great baseball IQ. However, that is not me.

The glove pic is close (and funny) and I do think a little old school though. I think these kids today do not get the chance to have a high baseball IQ. They are so micromanaged at all levels of ball. Alabama pitchers wearing arm bands to reference? Missouri all had a little cute belt pouch? Catcher's spend more time looking at the dugout than looking at the field. Playing shifts then pitching against it. I would like coaches go back to coaching and teach the players how to play, then let them play. Johnny Mac only looked to the dugout for defensive positioning calls, bunt plays and 1st & 3rd situations. Otherwise he could see much better how the batter was reacting to each pitch than someone in the dugout.
