I am hopeful we can get a couple guys drafted. Maybe one of the Davis twins and the Darrien Daniels and Lamar Jackson. That is about all I can muster.

Lamar Jackson is a guarantee, he’s been said to be as high as a first rounder. Then it’s Darrion Daniels, K Davis for sure with C Davis as a possibility. M Berry might slip by in the late rounds.

That’s about it. But most of our starters where freshmen, sophomores and juniors. We return every starter on the offensive players minus K Noa. On defense we lose our 3 starting Dline (which is K and C Davis and D Daniels and Two of them should be drafted), Mo Berry at LB and L Jackson at DB. We only had a few seniors in the two deep. So only a few getting drafted is about right when there wasn’t many seniors starting.

Offensive senior starters:
Kanawai Noa

Everyone is returning so it's easy to see why no one may be drafted. Our only potential draftee is JD.

Defensive senior starters:
Darrion Daniels, Khalil Davis, Carlos Davis, Alex Davis, Mo Barry, Lamar Jackson.

Of the 6 seniors, Lamar will get drafted. Darrion and Khalil are possibles. On defense we may go 1 for 6 or as high as 50%. That's not terrible.

JD will get drafted by Minnesota. In the imaginary 8th round.

i guarantee JD doesn’t end up anywhere except our starting WR next year and he will break a number of records. We have been hearing about JD leaving since Mike Riley got fired and he never leaves and he’s not going to now in his senior role.

good call on A Davis. I forgot him. But yes sir, we only had a few seniors in the two deep. So it’s only natural we won’t have many drafted this year.

Jackson will probably get drafted in the first 4 rounds. JD, will probably get drafted, if he declares. Danniels and the Davis twins could be drafted late if someone sees a fit and need. Danniels is a sold NT, which are hard to find and I could see someone seeing thinking the Davis twins could be good 4-3 DT’s. I also think Jaimes is an NFL OL, but should come back for another year.

I’m higher up on the draft boards than Mo Berry is.

My guess is Lamar Jackson (1st to 4th round...he’s the guaranteed guy that gets drafted) Darrion Daniels and K Davis (both go 4th to 7th rounds).

C Davis and M Berry get singed in free agent deals.

when it’s all said and done...L Jackson, D Daniels and K Davis will all make teams. While C Davis and Berry will get cut. Maybe C. Davis lands and makes it somewhere.

1 drafted. Lamar Jackson
Lamar Jackson. That’s it

Lamar Jackson is a lock, he will get drafted...it’s just a matter of how high will he go???

i honestly feel Darrion Daniels will get drafted by someone over the 7 rounds. Those 340 plus pound NT/DTs are harder to find and he was a solid to good defender all season long. He was constantly getting Penetration on teams most of the year. And K. Davis had a solid year with 46 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks....so he’s right there. He could very easily get picked up by someone looking for a 3-4 DE or even a true DT on a 4-3 defense, he sets at 6’2 320 pounds and can get pressure on a QB. There’s a very good chance someone takes a stab at him in the late rounds. Just my two cents.

I don't see JD ever getting drafted. Stanley Morgan was undrafted and he seems like a better prospect than JD.

I think Jackson is it....and he will be 3rd or 4th round. The tape is pretty poor for all of our defense...they didn't play well in big games...and Lamar got beat enough by NFL quality WRs. Daniels wasn't dominant against NFL type lineman and didn't have a great career at OSU...and the Davis twins are going to throw up a lot of red flags once they get into interviews because of immaturity. There is a reason they have been here forever but could barely earn a blackshirt and were never considered for leadership positions. Plus, we haven't had anybody show out in the league for a while which will discourage wasting a pick. Each team only gets 5-10 picks...you have to really pause using them on players who have never been winners and haven't shown up big against top talent. Corner and DT are certainly two positions that can show out individually even when the rest of the team is getting wrecked.

CBS sports has him as a 4th round pick. Kind of changed their tune from a 1st rounder. My guess is 6th round and no other Huskers taken. Which sounds on par with what we've had for the last 4 or 5 years.

If Lamar can get drafted, it will make our average rise a little bit over the last 4 years and make it 3 total. Baby steps.

This is just silly. I mean don't get me wrong, I love Stanley Morgan. But JD is not only a receiver, but can run the ball as well as play special teams. He's like a Ty Hill hype whom many teams would love to have.

I do see Lamar going end of first day or early second day though. Daniels maybe later round, but that's it. K. Davis might have success as undrafted, but idk about C. Davis. That's about all though.

I could see him getting signed by Vikings if his dad is still there, but definitely not drafted.

Daniels' injury history is probably going to prevent him from getting drafted. He'll definitely get a FA tryout at the very least somewhere. Who knows though if Vincent Valentine got drafted......

thats exactly what I basing my Darrion Daniels idea off of too. Malik Collins and V Valentine got drafted, Darrion Daniels should be able too. At the very least Darrion is as good or better then Vince V, Maybe not so much M Collins. But I agree, if he doesn’t get drafted, he will definitely get picked with a free agent deal. Those really big, good NT/DTs are a premium and aren’t easy to come by and D Daniels definitely fits that bill.

man that reminds me...I miss having those guys. We definitely had one of the best, if no “THE” best Dline in the BiG 10, if not top 5 in the country that year.

Randy Gregory DE Malik Collins DT V Valentine DT G McMullen DE.
