Probably easier to figure out who won’t. Spencer, Jones and Thompson for sure will go pro. Hard to say for sure on anyone else. I think Costello and Mitchell move on. Eiland, Payton, Parker....hard to say. I think Peters and Morgan will give it another go.

Yes, these guys have another year but after 5 years some folks are just tired of college ball.

ETA: The real question for us is, how many of the current juniors come back for 2022? I'm talking mainly about Heath and Davis, and to a lesser extent Cross (he'll be draft eligible).

Has Kobe Jones had one impact play in 4 years? Not even a game. I can’t think of one big play he has ever made. Great kid. Not a pro at football. Not to mention he doesn’t have a position in the nfl even if he were good enough.

My guess would be Error and Spencer. Maybe Kobe depending on what they draft people tell him. Same with Mitchell. Another year might help him a lot. We might lose a couple of linemen though. Isn't Parker a senior? Of course some of the guys that never play will move on. But they won't affect anything.

I think the potential returning seniors from this team are

JaVonta Payton
Osiris Mitchell
CJ Morgan
Fred Peters
Dareuan Parker
I think Spencer, Jones, Thompson, & Sharp have a chance to play pro ball next year and I don’t see Eiland returning.

Kobe has played a Lot of solid ball. He may not be an nfl player, but he’s been a solid sec player. Hope he wants to play one more year.

Thompson is the only senior on the roster with a legit chance at the NFL.

Spencer and Jones have been great this year but pretty much invisible until now. They could both benefit from another year as starters.

Honestly, if a player has stuck it out thru coaching changes and the shitshow that has been the 2020 season - I don’t see why they wouldn’t want to come back for a normal final year. Only if they are ready to be done with football for good and start the next phase of their life (which I could understand)

Wish CJ Morgan would leave. He was a too slow to play safety and imagine he hasn’t gotten any better

Cross is a redshirt freshman. Not draft eligible.

Your class designation means absolute naught when it comes to being draft eligible, one simply has to be out of HS for 3 years. Oh and you must be pretty good at the football stuff.
