Hurley will be. He's not turning down a record offer coming his way. He's going to get 12 a year

I don't think he's leaving a job he's won back to back NC's at, and isn't taking a job that Drew and Oates have both publicly turned down.

Should’ve had an option for Hurley. He’s just been offered ridiculous money, it’s not impossible.

Personally I think Tommy Lloyd would be a good option. I don’t even want Donovan or any other unemployed coach, I want a coach that can bring a roster with him and hit the transfer portal hard.

If it's any of those dudes I think I'll go back in UK fan hibernation 🤣
Serious question ... why? Even as the #1 program of all-time (as Kentucky is), every search must be realistic. You can't just always get WHOMEVER you want from anywhere, and these would all be fantastic options that could win a lot of games with Kentucky's resources.

For me, in order…

Donovan. If he says no…

Tommy Lloyd. If he says no…

Take a flyer on a younger coach. Todd Golden? Wes Miller?

I still think there's a chance of Hurley or Donovan or even Oats.

From your list, I'm going to say Pearl, Shaka or LLoyd.

Bruce Pearl it is then. Call him up. We ain't got no time to waste unlike what some people think. It's a arms race between us and arkansas. And they've already got the Head start

Pearl would be a great hire. Has the personality and plays a fun style of basketball that fans would love. KY is not a forever job with any coach so his age not a concern. A five year contract that adds a year ever time he makes a sweet sixteen similar to what Stoops has would be idea.

I'm going to say Dan hurley and Billy Donavan until they officially say no. I don't want Pearl he's 10-18 against UK including the end of Tubby's run, Billy G's run, and the last 4 years of Cal. That's a lot of bad UK teams to be 8 games under 500.

I follow UK sports for fun. I don't think any of those coaches would be exciting or win at the level we all expect. Honestly I believe those choices are similar to a Billy G type hire and I don't want to revisit the days of starting PG Mike Porter.

I picked Brad Underwood.

Because I want him? No.

Because I looked for the most boring hire on the list and thought about how Mitch rolls.
