Just poured a G&T in a large Tervis glass. Sitting on the back patio trying to forget the HELL of this week!

Benchmark/Coke Zero, deer sausage, and deer burgers. It’s been a fine evening.

Larceny with a splash of Coke Zero. Sorry purists! Also don’t know why images are sideways now but I’m about to be so Que Sera Sera.
ETA: my drinking buddy came and joined me.

My man. My exact SIP sip. I have been working through my stash to say the least.

ETA. Decided to recreate the scene in your honor. My drinking buddy got started early..

I was going to start a post questioning coke in expensive burbon/scotch but there has been enough arguing. Cheers Bulldog Brothers

edit Post not email. Too much home work or too much booze

Been hitting the beer pretty hard the past three weeks. Dos Equis is my regular beer but tried Yuengling Flights last week and honestly have become a fan. It may be my new summer mowing the yard sitting on the patio beer. Switched it up tonight to give my liver a little variety. Captain Private Stock and Coke Zero.

Friend owns a liqueur store, he's had several different kinds of Wild Turkey Master's Keep sitting around for a while, so he gave me a deal on the lot. The 17 year old is pretty incredible. The revival is completely different because of the sherry cask aging, and the Decades bottle is probably my favorite. If I could get my hands on the cornerstone rye I'd have the whole set. Well worth it if you find any of these around.

-We become fabulous cooks.
-We develop drinking problems.
No joke man. I’ll admit it... I have been baking over the last two weeks for maybe the first time as an adult. One of my kids has a birthday coming up and thought about trying to make him a cake.

And I’ve been drinking 2-3x as much as normal.

Willet and coke.

Whyyy?? Jk.. ha I like Willet but never mix it with anything. But whatever you enjoy is what matters.

As for myself, 12yr old Knob Creek(blue label) on ice ball. Haven’t seen it very often and decided to try it. 100p - not too hot but not quite as smooth as I would have thought. It’s ok. But won’t be high on my list moving forward.

Patroń in a shot glass. About 7-8 times. A little lemon and some kosher salt. No chasers-don’t need no chasers. Just get straight to it. No need to 17 around when it comes to liquor. Life is good. My back pain is gone....

WT is my favorite distiller. I've almost picked up Master's Keep bottles so many times, but I've rarely seen it under $135 and I just can never justify that.

I love bourbon, and have had lots of it, but I've never found anything that was worth the premium over about $60 for a bottle. It's still firewater when you get right down to it.

I'm envious though.
