Dusty May seems to be a great coach, and he's one of Ben McCollom's best friends in the business, so I'm all in on Michigan. I don't know about best Michigan team ever, but they're big, they're talented, they're deep, and they're well-coached . . . and they slipped past the Iowa Hawkeyes by THREE points. Arizona, OTOH, never had a chance.
The Big Ten already has won the national title in football (Indiana, 16-0), men's wrestling (PSU), and women's basketball (UCLA) and is teed up to have Michigan dismantle UConn tonight for the title in men's basketball. And then the UCLA baseball team is currently ranked #1 in the country. It seems pretty clear that the BIG is gettin' bigger and the sec is gettin' smaller.
I think Uconn's slower pace and ability to hit 3s at a better clip then Arizona will keep it close. Not being able to shoot is a nightmare against Michigan's length. I still think Michigan's size and talent is too much. Michigan 77 to 69
I've got Michigan but I'm not sleeping on Uconn. That program just wins... Even if I don't care for them, I've got to respect what they've done the past handful of years. I won't be shocked at a fairly close game.
If Michigan plays the way they did against Arizona the Connies got no chance. I see easy win for the Wolverines.
Well see I wasn't close on f4 predictions. Uconn is well coached though. If Iowa can keep it close I think Uconn can
Agree UConn will try to control tempo much like Iowa did vs mich, FL and illini
Uconn has more weapons that Iowa so I give them a decent shot at upset,especially if lendeborg is impaired
