I don't think either UMBC or Kansas State should really worry UK.
LOL, at this point, give us KSU, if we end up getting to a FF through Davidson, Buffalo, UMBC and Loyola Chicago we are going to get hammered by our critics, which is pretty much every analyst and fan base out there.
But it's not like Kansas State is some kind of juggernaut either.

For the first time that I can remember, I really don't care who we play in the next game.
UMBC would be a rout IMO.
KSU would be a conventional SEC-type team that we are used to playing. They're on par with an Alabama or Mizzou. 10+ pt win.

If it's UMBC all the media idiots are going to say is it's "David versus Goliath" and everybody will be on their underdog bandwagon just like Buffalo and Davidson before them. With that said, just give me K State.

I think Michigan State made it to the FF in 2015 after their bracket imploded, but very few poked holes in their accomplishments.
I want to play UMBC and Nevada to reach the final four. Why? To shove up the collective asses of the NCAA selection committee.
Exactly. Their region was pretty much chalk and they STILL had a cupcake road. Robert Morris, SDSU, Utah and Gonzaga. Wasn't like the region opened up. They had a cakewalk from the jump.

Doesn't matter who we play. It's Catlanta. The place will be solid blue. It will shock the hell out of both of them. Tourney fans are much crazier than the hand-sitters at Rupp.

They played a 16,8,5 and a 2 to reach the FF. Basically chalk and didn't play anybody. They were set up to win it that year. It was obvious.

I have a feeling UMBC is going to get beat badly today. I know it's only Bruce Weber/KSU, but UMBC shot their wad two nights ago and like Buffalo, lost the element of surprise.
Michigan state was a 7 and played the 10, the 2, the 3, and the 4 to make the Final Four. Other than Nova losing, the bracket was chalk for MSU and MSU was the one who made it implode the most.
