walking into ameritrade yesterday and see a van all painted up with Vandy slogans and baseball bats lining the roof....got closer and saw “whistler” painted on the side. Took several steps then heard “tweet, tweet, tweet” emanating from the van.

It would be unfortunate if something annoying happened to this vehicle.

Wow, I'm glad I'm not a Vandy fan. That's more embarrassing that Stingray. Barely, but still.

I’ve always gotten a kick out of the super fans from any sport. Soccer, the NFL(Raiders come to mind), or even those that get completely decked out for college games. I just think that they take what would have been a good game regardless, and they help to make the event larger than life

That said, I don’t think that Vandy’s whistlers do what they do because they want to be thought of as a super fan. I think they get an absolute kick out of making everyone around them want to light their van on fire, and I’ve never understood that mentality. Getting joy out of making people miserable...

As I told my wife last night, it will only take one guy having a bad night to shut those bastards up for good, but it’s gotta happen at some point

If it hasn't happened by now, it's probably not going to happen. The only hope now is for a few potential vandy recruits to start saying that they were on the fence, but don't want to spend home games for the next three years listening to those *** holes.

in any of the articles they've had done on themselves, I don't recall seeing that either of them actually graduated from Vandy, this just happens to be a local guy with absolutely nothing else to do..... much as stingray was for us.

Someone needs to check with Nebraska DMV and make sure his muffler is up to code and regulation.

That thing actually made it to Omaha from Nashville? Looks like it's falling apart.

He's got a handicapped placard, and looks like he's parked in a no-parking zone.

It just seems simple enough for evidence to be planted in that vehicle. And a dime dropped.

That game 1 vs Duke seemed to shut the whistler up pretty good. I hope we can take a page from the Dookies and score 20 runs on them.

Exactly right my friend. This is literally all this guy has to live for. It ain’t about supporting the team it is about this loser finally having something to do with his life.

I agree. There is a pretty good explanation.

That's called trolling and it predates the internet.

No doubt he is a top shelf attention *****. It was just me and my family walking by and I did a double take after I saw “whistler” on the side. Took two or three steps away and heard the three whistles from inside the van as if to say “yes, rando outside, it’s me”

It's no coincidence that Herbert the Pervert also employs a softer, more subtle whistle

I wonder if he would eventually shut up if after his three tweets, all of the MSU folks shouted "Go State Go!" I think our folks could drown out the clapping from Vandy fans.

Actually would sound kind of nice "Tweet, Tweet, Tweet, GO STATE GO!".

I have no idea how to make that happen.

^^^this should happen. Take over his antics and he’ll shut the hell up.
I wish my pigs could survive without me or I’d head that way just to start this myself.

If you could only figure a place to secure a cowbell that the whistler could never find....

They did that at the SEC tourney.

That actually did happen at the SEC baseball tournament when we played Vandy. I was there and thought it was great.
