While we wait for the game, cataract surgeons...recommendations

seems there is always some good financial advice here so can anyone guide me to a great ophthalmologist who offers personal follow up care for cataract surgery?

Southern Eye Center in Hattiesburg is very good. But you're apparently not near there, relatively speaking.

Looks like the wrong end of the state for you but my little sister had rare cataracts in her early 20’s. She used Shipp in Corinth and absolutely raved about the doctors, staff, the whole 9 yards.

This is what we were told as well but wife's experience was anything but. At Callahan Eye center at UAB now and couldn't be happier. It's her fourth eye Dr and likely the last.

Dr Ken Toler, Jackson Eye Associates. He is my personal opthomologist and has done surgeries on several of my friends and family. Great guy and if the name rings a bell, he was a DB at OM and aged some in the NFL for New England.
