Roadhouse. Patrick Swayze pulled off the badass good guy so much better.

I admire Dalton's inspiration to all 125 pound ballet dancers whose dream it was to be a bouncer, but no chance this is the case. Dalton's delicate little fingers could never penetrate the thick, coarse beard of Cameron Poe to pull his throat out. Therefore, Poe > Dalton

Strong point... You are most definitely right about this. However, As far as natural badass material, Dalton exuded it. Poe ACTED like he exuded it.

For me, this tips the scales in favor of Roadhouse.

Very simplistic and not a well thought-out overview.

The real difference in the 2 movies was the cinematography, of which Con-Air is clearly superior. But theoretically let's say they were equal in this category as well. In that case, the tie breaker always goes to the movie that either has Steve Buscemi or Sam Elliott in a support role. I know what you think, and yes it is problematic, but its a very simple calculus to find the conclusion: Road House sucked, so ConAir wins by default.

Can you say with a straight face that you didn't get a full-on chub when Poe said "put down the bunny"?

Didn't think so.

Compelling argument. I may be putting too much on the Swayze v. Cage matchup... I may need to watch both of them again and revise my answer.

Although if gratuitous nudity enters the equation, the scale tips back to roadhouse.

That may be the first time anyone has ever accused Cage of acting.

Two completely different movies where “both” should be an option.

This is like asking Robocop or Starship Troopers

I can't even believe this final result isn't 100/0 with Roadhouse winning in an epic landslide. For real. In other news, the original Fast & Furious was nothing more than a blatant rip-off of the movie Point Break. I give them props for not calling it X-Games Point Break or Epic Point Break or some other dumb term of the day. They at least changed the names and literally made the exact same movie. I will get off my soapbox.

Anyone that picks roadhouse is a terrible person and should go to bed every night remembering all of the stupid decisions they've made in their life.

One had John Cusack, but the other had the Jeff Healey Band. This is so difficult........

My best bud who grew up a few houses down from me liked Roadhouse so much, he named his son Dalton. TruDat.

...and to answer the O.P. Roadhouse, and it ain't close.

Tin Cup is one of the best flicks ever, not only do we have the "dreamy" Costner, we also get Rene Russo, who showed her boobs in "The Thomas Crowne Affair"...and they looked fantastic, and Don Johnson, and half of Cheech and Chong. Winner winner, chicken dinner.
