Our shooting percentage has been all over the place, from a low against Lafayette (.286) to a high against Nebraska (.583)

The Barn is such a strange arena .. court way raised and the benches down below so kind of like our issues playing with different basketballs than we do at home .. the muscle memory/feel might challenge due to the distance to the crowd behind the basket. Also, then tend to tighten the springs on the rims there, you can always here a tin-y ping when the ball hits the back of the rim. Not good for us either

Teams on a roll. Road victory is important. They missed a lot of easy baskets against Iowa, so there may be an emphasis on shooting, so I’m going with a little higher % against Minny. Get locked in… Go RU

I hope the game is played and that we can get a win on the road which would help our resume. Hopefully we can stay healthy also.

Road games are absolutely huge for an NCAA tournament bubble team like us. Winning tomorrow would actually be more important in some ways than the home win the other night. I hope the team is focused and ready.

For some context, Minnesota's been allowing a FG% of .482 in conference play, good for 13th (ahead of Nebraska with .499). We shot .583 vs. Nebraska, but it was at home.

EJ Stephens, 2-10, 5pts, 2019 Lafatette, Charlie Daniels, 6 minutes, 2019 SF Austin. *Eric Curry, 2017 5-5 11pts 6reb, 4 games since 3-12 8pts, 11reb, 6TOs in 66 minutes*, and Payton Willis, RS 2018-19, 2019-20 33min 4-9 12pts 4reb, are their only players that have experience to what we do. Jamison Battle, leading scorer a transfer from GWU, will be guarded by a combo of RHJ, Hyatt, Caleb, he struggled against MSU 2x and Illinois. We have won the last 4 games against them. Luke Loewe transfer from William & Mary, and Sean Sutherlin, transfer from New Hampshire, round out their 7 man rotation. A mish mosh of 4 good players from low-mid majors teams, one good A-10 transfer, and 2 experienced, P6 recruited players. I think our offense will be effective against Minnesota's defense.

Current reports show Curry not playing (ankle injury). He is their starting BIG, so if he doesn't play that would be big. His backup is averaging 2 points in 13 minutes of play.
