I am afraid both these games tomorrow will be non competitive, which sucks because these are 4 elite programs and normally you would expect 2 barn burners.
I expect both Duke and Kansas to win easily by double digits. Hope I am wrong.

Took a closer look at KU roster and the games they have played so far.It may not be the mismatch that some are thinking it could turn out to be.We will have some tough match-ups for them and if we pressure them after made baskets things could get interesting..Hate to bring it up but who calls the game and how they call it will be a factor.

Sad, but probably true. Games are about 2 weeks too early !

Duke peaks earlier than most teams. I wouldn't be surprised to see Duke win tomorrow night, and lose to MSU in the tournament. Duke wins 87-76; Kansas 76-66. Kentucky will be good, just not right now. And, they are missing two players that could really help.

LOL wtf are you talking about ? MSU and Duke are equal and KU and UK are equal as well. Now I agree right now if MSU was playing UK and KU was playing Duke the games might be not super close but MSU IMO will win by 2-3 and Uk will win by 3-4 but all 4 teams have a great chance to win.

I actually think msu wins.
Yes they very well could . Duke is uber talented but literally has no depth. They play 6 guys and have alot of weaknesses. They are hidden since they have to ultra studs like Bagley and Trent but they also have idiots like Allen and Duval who just as easily will cost you a game.

Hope you're right.Seems like MSU always looks like crap in these early season games against elite schools.

We need to show even more improvement in all phases of the game for this to work. We already know that foul trouble is a big problem everytime we play them. I think it will take a bit to overcome some early success that Kansas might get with their experience but if we can keep composure after that we might see some growth in this game by our team.

Would love to see mst beat puke but I don't think it will happen. Is being only a 2.5 underdog is shocking. I hope to win but I don't see it happening, which is fine given the fact we are missing 1.5 good players and if we don't play our A+ game Kansas will win by double digits. That said it's very early in the season and by years end this will be a totally different team.

It's going to take someone going off to beat Duke. I think it'll happen in ACC play. I hate them way more than the Cards. Stemming back to CL and GH.

KU is going to win by double digits at this point in our development. Think we will take them down in March.

I think Mich St takes down Duke. Early in the season, I think MSU is the better team. As the year moves on, I think Duke's FR move Duke ahead of MSU, but right now I would take MSU.
And I think UK-KU will be close too. Newman is not impressive at all. Graham is overrated, he's not had the ball in his hands a lot before. He can do it, but it will give him fewer open looks from 3. I think it is pretty even.

Close games.

MSU beats Duke, experience wins over talent this time.

KU beats us by 10, but a close game. Graham will eat our lunch

The number of posters on here with the defeatest attitude has gotten disgraceful. Must be mostly young people with no real knowledge of our history nor pride for what UK basketball has accomplished. Absolutely embarrassing.
