My predictions:
Okruch (ST)- I think everyone thinks this will happen
Ol coach - love the guy personally but is in way over his head
DL coach-the most disappointing unit on team- underperformed all year
Everyone else stays, even though I think Mehringer should go.

Most likely none. I just want the ST coach gone. Everyone else is definitely safe though.
The fact that Blazek got Clark guarantees he will be here next year.

Who should go and who will are two different matters.Financial resources limit options.

My thoughts: Hobbs isn't "brand new" anymore as he was a year ago. He can get/find the money if we need it to help the program.

Despite my concerns about our talent level and lack of athleticism, which has had a serious impact on ST's, there's very little doubt that Okruch needs to go.
While I completely agree, just curious why you think VO needs to go?

I don't think any will go. But based on merit Okruch in any year other than the 1st year of a new head coach would be toast. He completely broke something that wasn't broken. This goes beyond just our kickers who are their own special kind of suck. Special teams shouldn't be an adventure rather it should be routine.

Do you really think everyone on this staff is B1G Coachng material ?
Not even close.
A OC who can't read Defensive packages and can't make adjustments. Please.
A Special Teams Coach whose players are not in the right positions (lanes) on Kick offs and Kickers who are not even FCS level kickers .

At least 2 changes needed.

At another school your probably right. Here no one goes anywhere. Unless of course if a professor picks up the phone. :))

Worst ST's in the nation and saw nothing, as the season moved along, that led me to believe anything was done about it.
Is there any fact we are worst ST in the nation or just speaking with emotion?

Need quality depth. We're using too many guys that already get time on offense and defense there. With the exception of the return man, there should be reserve players out there. Even the best coaches can't have exhausted players on punt team and expect great play. Recruit. Recruit. Recruit.

Anyone involved with special teams should be fired. That unit looked pathetic.
Special teams was usually our best unit under Schiano and Flood. I know our kickers and punters are awful but coverage has been abysmal. A lot of that has to do with the quality of players on special teams but players have been out of position.

Not including today's game. I'd say overall a "D-" on ST's this year:

Blocked Kicks - 3 (tied for 16th)
Blocked Kicks Allowed - 2 (t-58th)
Blocked Punts - 1 (t-19th)
Blocked Punts Allowed - 2 (t-116th)
** huge #'s of teams in these "ties"

Kick Return D - 98th
Kick Returns - 86th
Net Punting - 126th
Punt Return D - 63rd
Punt Returns - 61st
FG % - 54th
FG/Game - 79th

...and the old "eye test." Way too many missed tackles, broken tackles, and guys simply making a single move and leaving our guys holding their jocks.

Agree Okruch should go...Blaze is not the issue with the O-line...our players are the issue ...slow...slower and yes slowest...only Cole and Miller have played fairly well...Big Chris Muller is just BIGa 4* recruit ?...Dennman is worthless a 4* recruit?...he gained more weight and became even more unable to move on the RT side...Derrick Nelson was undersized and lacked the ability to move his feet...overpowered all season by D-lines...we can not make up for strength and size in 8 months ....it just wasn't happening... Kamaal Seymour is a redshirt soph ....a work in progress...switched to offense why?... it should tell us all about our experienced O-line this season...we have NO playmakers except Harris and maybe a running back...no wide receivers ....no tight ends... that is on Flood.

There HAS to be some coaching changes after a 2-9 season. You have to show a willingness to change. I don't,care that it's college football, recruits not here yet, and Ash is perfect because he is from Ohio St....etc. Hobbs/Ash have to at least make some minor changes in personnel/procedure. Or how about we reduce donations then?

If any coach goes it will be the ST coach. You can't blame him for a the poor punting or place kicking(just no talent), but you can certainly blame him for the terrible kick coverage and the lack or a return game without Grant.

I'm sure the entire staff has already begun working on next year. No doubt trying to come up with a new catchy phrase since "The Hunt" sucked. Rutgers stinks. They've always stunk. So we have to "hunt" the big guys. Great message coach. Way to instill confidence.

Also probably trying to figure out what other popular Rutgers football traditions they can get rid of. Maybe they'll get rid of the canon. Or not let the Knight ride the horse onto the field before each game.
