He's amusing for a while but he eventually gets annoying. He takes away from the game he's working with all his flower-child hippy days reminiscening. He's 20% game chatter and 80% nonsense bull crap.
He was an another plane of existence tonight. Even by Bill Walton standards he was out there. I enjoyed it but couldn't listen to him regularly.
I would think that very few play-by-play people are crazy about working with him. The guy with him tonight seems to handle the situation okay but anyone serious about their job would have as much an issue playing along with his routine as Jack Nicklaus did playing golf with Lee Trevino.
