This sheds some light into why the former staff didn't want him. The former staff did not value squats as a form of lifting, so they would not have been impressed with this.

Yep we have too much depth in the dline to want someone like this

I heard that Mike did not want him because they would have had to buy more 45 lbs plates for the weight room.:mad:

SE* ouch that's even worse, The knights have a long history of going to UNL.

Bryson Williams, from lincoln, plays a position you deperatly needed. Seems to be going to ouch for PT at the league's best D, who play the same 3-4. The idea of a kid from SE going Anywhere other than Nebraska 15 years ago would be blasphemy. Act like that isn't about nebraska.

I always wanted to play HS Football. Surgeries to my back got in the way. I lifted weights in the mean times. Junior year I was cleared. I went for rugby. They needed guys and I signed up.

Nothing like lighting a guy up in open field.. and then taking the ball in for a touch

It's ok if Frost can't get the Burke kids with no local ties, but I still can't get an answer from the Bloners about the Williams kid background..... weird

He wasnt a local kid, was born here I beleive but his family moved to Illinois when he was like 2. They went back to Lincoln during his freshman year in HS. These things do happen so it’s not some grand surprise that a kid who grew up in Illinois didnt choose Nebraska, even more so when he wasnt a high priority to the previous staff.

Riley chose instead to commit to a kid with grade issues that now is going to a sunbelt team

This is a mistake that will be biting Nebraska for the next 4 years

It’s my understanding
Billy devaney made this decision
Riley is responsible for the structure and decision making proccess
That nfl player personnel model just isn’t a formula that’s going to work in college football

We’re going to survive without him. Would’ve been a much better choice but it’s now done and in the past. Frost and his staff managed to salvage the class and did a damn good job in doing so.

I particularly enjoy how he enters behind that metal scroll work and casually strolls about only to fool me by walking in front of it? He also fooled me just when I got use to lolololollolololo and then throwing in a lololalalala
lololalalalahahahahaha. Sounded so Italian!

I made it 9 hrs & 10 mins., damn cable went out.
Well, back to the gulag.
