You’re part of the problem, you’re treating the site like it’s X. This is a message board and because of fran’s actions this board is no longer a message board but just fran spam with a mental disorder. It would be better if you just followed fran on X.
What do you think we all send on here? Smoke signals? Of course they're messages. You're blinded by your hatred. Get a grip before you accidentally start making sense.
The boards are dead compared to pre-fran. The really good posters became tired of fran and moved on.
Site is much better without that guy who is clearly mentally ill.

Not sure why you think it’s a jealousy war. The issue has always been that fran wants to control the message boards and even go so far as to complain to the moderators when someone starts a thread. And when the moderators tell fran to take a hike, he, along with his kids, just create and bump frans threads to drop the other threads off the first page. He spams the boards. It’s not just fran being jealous, it’s more than that, he’s mentally ill. If you’re just a reader you might not see it, but actual posters (who create threads) have to deal with fran’s issues. And that is the reason all the good posters have left.This whole posting jealousy war is TL;DR.
It's wild to me how rational people can see what a lunatic he is and that opinion is met with pushback. I don't venture to the boards that often anymore, partially because there are a few posters that feel like they "own" these boards and it's oddly tied into their own self worth somehow. It's truly bizarre behavior for adults. I'm not that old yet, but adopted computers/internet in its very early stages and man, message boards used to be some reeeally good discussion. There were some flamers here and there, but man it was a hell of a lot less toxic than it is now. To your point, if I wanted a Twitter/X Feed, I would join that platform. Message boards to me have always been about discussion, however stupid, not just liking a Twitter Proxy Service.
Anywho, it is highly entertaining jumping on here every so often and seeing this stuff still going. Imagine being so petty and insecure, it's ******* wild.
No what really points to a psychological disorder is a person telling some to kill themselves and making fun of cancer.
He is clearly unstable and so many excuse it way. Reminds me of other facets in our current reality.

As I outlined in the post I just quoted, I and many others posted on Iowa Rivals what we were seeing and experiencing as the July 1 transition from Rivals to On3 approached. As one example, as you can see above, I posted what I saw being posted by Shannon Terry, the Founder/CEO of On3 and Rivals.
On June 7, 2025: Shannon Terry was asked on X (Twitter) if current NON-SUBSCRIBERS on Iowa Rivals would have to subscribe on July 1 in order to be able to post on all of the Iowa forums. He replied with this, which didn’t help clear up any confusion: "ALL posting on On3 requires a membership. So, slight change there." Shannon was then asked this follow up question on X (Twitter): When you say posting requires a membership, you mean you must have the $120/year subscription, correct? He liked that question/reply, which, again, didn’t help to clear things up; he, instead, clearly made it sound like you had to subscribe in order to post.
And speaking of Shannon Terry and the truth, Tom Kakert posted this YESTERDAY, on July 24, 2025, at 1:04 pm:
…the message I received today (not asking for feedback from on3, but something our owner posted to all pubs today) was they would like us to do away with all free forums if possible. I am going to go to bat to see if we can keep something, but it might end up out of my hands. Time will tell.

A few final things:
* I don't like being called a liar when I was simply posting in June what the CEO of On3 was saying.
* And speaking of that On3 CEO, yesterday he made it clear that he would like to do away with free forums. That's relevant to those of us who currently don't have subscriptions.
* The On3 CEO has the final say in the "free forum" matter, not Tom (which is what he claimed).
The irony is that I got accused of lying, which is not true. And now Tom claims he has no idea how those Twitter posts criticizing a competitor got tied to his @ TomKakert Twitter account.
Nope, I will still have final say. They will give suggestions. My point was basically that it's going to be difficult and challenging to get them to give us another free forum. They will have final say on that front because I cannot create one.

Fair enough, and thank you for the response. To provide additional clarification, is that something you have learned over the last several weeks? Because I don’t remember that being mentioned when the topic was brought up before.
Yeah it was just this last week and something mentioned internally. I've always know that they were encouraging of just one forum and it be premium. But its always been flexible. I know there are.a few folks who think I am dead set against adding a womens hoops forum. I am not. I simply wanted to wait and see what traffic was like this month and go from there. I haven't even asked yet if I could add, but I wanted to be transparent and let folks here know there could be some resistance.
Also, stop sending me direct messages about chis. You're both completely fuucked in the head.
