Quite a bit. He wears #0.

Right and I admit my lack of focus on who had the ball. Run left, right and center with throws to wideouts once in awhile. Did not hear his name called all game. Should have paid attention to who was blocking. Raine may have quietly had an all-star night.

Yes. This is an interesting point. After his big game against MD, he was noticeably quiet ( at least in the box score stats ) in this game. Makes one wonder whether Bajakian was counting on Iowa to key on him and so used him as a decoy opening up pass plays to Mangieri ( who had a few receptions, including his really nice grab in the EZ where couldn’t quite get both feet in ). Nebraska now understands they have to account for both tight ends in a two TE formation. I’m beginning to appreciate Bajakian.

Mangieri played pretty well sat. Wasn't that him that almost had an espn highlight for an almost td? I agree though- Raine needs to get more involved vs Neb if we have any chance to win

If Mangieri hadn't bobbled the ball and grabbed it cleanly, he probably would've scored. But that was a good play.

Agree with everything you said, except for one minor quibble: in college, receivers only need to get one foot in, not both. :)

Twine had a drop early and there was only 18 pass attempts for the game.

I think this is the major reason for Raine's quiet game - just not enough opportunities, mostly due to the game plan favoring the run heavily because of the wind. I am curious how many targets Raine had in the game, out of the 7 incompletions that Ramsey threw. It may have only been 1 or 2 max, if that. Honestly don't recall any passes intended for him in the entire game.
