Correct. AJE DID get significant snaps his first year. Hesse started because he was better at handling two gaps. AJE showed great burst off the edge from day one.

Iose has lost contain on the run quite a few times this year. I guarantee Michigan will try a few times to run some wide running plays to his side. Maybe a jet sweep or 2 as well. Gotten tighten up his rush lane discipline for sure.

I think he should be playing TE and Mason Woods should be a WR. The one thing that irritates me about a KF team, they aren't putting the right people in the right spots to succeed. They just fill open spots and pray that it works. Iose would be an excellent TE with his size and abilities.

One game doesn't end the world. They will get better as the year goes on. 8-4 is probably realistic. Next year could be better.

I do think they’re going to need to get creative or be prepared to lose some really good players. Buffington, Ries, Weiskoff, Gautcher and Manson all have looked the part already. At one point I heard positive things about Cooney too. It’d be interesting if any of them get moved to DE which is probably the next most logical spot but there’s some talent there too.

Phil Parker and his defensive staff are definitely putting people in the right spot(s) to succeed.

Historically, your above comment only fits on the offensive side where it’s not that guys have been put in the wrong spot(s).. it’s that they’re underutilized.

That said, Tony Diaz should have way more touchdowns through three games. Get these guys the statistics and keep them happy so they can extend that happiness to our future portal / high school recruits.

Lolol..... your kidding right? If KF is really good at ONE thing its identifying where someone will succeed. How many guys, has KF moved to a different position and they ended up being AA at Iowa, and solid pro's? Lindy and Jones at center, (both DT to start their career), Dallas Clark from LB to TE. That's TWO Remington winners and one Mackey award winner. J Babs was a fullback when he came to Iowa and they moved him to the DL. Christian Ballard was recruited by most schools as a TE, and he ended up an all conf DL. Marvin Mcnutt was a QB at Iowa until they moved him to WR. As for the two players you mentioned we don't need lose at TE and he'll develop where he is. Woods gives that TE room some more versatility and he'll fill out more.
