If you think duke gets a 1 you’re certifiably insane. Comparing them to 2015 and to unc last year is equally delusional.
How so?

good post. We have arguably some the best players in college hoops but that doesn’t always make you the best team. A lot of egos and NBA contracts are priority one, period not Duke basketball. We as fans would not have seen most of these players if they didn’t have the age rule in effect. How many of these freshmen do you see coming back to Durham to watch their school play.Agree with everything you said.
The frustrating part to me with watching this team is it looks like this group of freshmen have a mindset of "I haven't taken a shot in a while, I need to get mine." We watched a starting 5 that will be multi millionaires in a few months get beat by a TEAM last night. One that may have 2 nba players. You can't tell if Pinson has 0 points or 15, but he plays hard and is having fun.
We have the talent to win it all, but I would be lying if I said this season has been enjoyable up to now. Especially given the preseason hype.
We pissed our 1 seed chance last night. We finished 2nd in the conference and start 4 freshmen. The Holes last season finished 1st in the regular season I think, and started 3 juniors and 2 seniors, and had played in the national title game the year before. Just my opinion here but our youth may hurt us in terms of seeding, since we didn't do in the regular season as we were projected.Fair enough I suppose. To each his own.
If you can't see similarities between 2015, I'm not sure which team you're watching.
As far as UNC they are in almost the exact same position they were in 2017 in terms of record and even style of play.
Will they be a 1 seed, I suppose they may not I'm just not going to be surprised if they are. All week all I heard on XM college radio was it's a five team race for 4 one seeds and if Xavier lost early Duke would most likely replace them on the 1 line.
Xavier lost, so there's my logic.
Duke lost the same day as Xavier and has two more losses. The loss to BC & St Johns will hurt their seed. No way Duke gets a 1 and most likely will get the 2 in the West
This is probably true, but I think a semifinal loss to UNC is better than one to Providence.
Palms has Duke in the East still, I just don't think a 9 loss UNC team gets seeded over a 7 loss Duke, even if Duke isn't a 1.
