The last two times we lost to Lafayette before this season was 1988-89 and 1978-79. We wound up going to the NCAA Tournament both times.

Maybe but I am looking at pikes whole body of work since he has been at RU. Yes they started a little slow but many of us had faith that pike would right the ship and tonight he did exactly that.
Does anyone think Pike coached a particularly good game tonight? Not taking anything away from him or the guys. What a f****** gutsy effort and head coaches get credit. Just curious what people liked in the management of the game.

We shot the ball well and RHJ hit a once in a lifetime shot. Won’t complain…karma owes us after the Iowa kid defied the laws of geometry banking that 3 from the corner with .8 seconds left a few years ago. Thought Pike managed the last few minutes well and he pulled the right strings with personnel. Good job.

I guess coaches and game plan they put together along with guys who stepped up had nothing to do with putting Harper in situation to win game
The whole game was pretty fun to watch. Toe to toe with a #1 ranked, undefeated team. There good moments. There were bad moments. The refs made some really bad calls,,, both ways, but the ones against us seemed particularly bad and the announcers highlighted it.
Doesnt get much more entertaining and fun.
