I am speechless.
The only other thing I will say is that Moorhead is not our only problem. The finger pointing needs to start at the top with the man who hired Moorhead, and at the man who hired Cohen.
Cohen is Templeton 2.0!!! The only thing LT has on Cohen is that he at least had some sort of experience in running an athletic department. Cohen is a narcassist who dares anyone cross him within the walls of the athletic department. And like LT, there is ZERO mingling with the fans. NONE whatsoever!! As big of a nerd as Stricklin is/was, he at least mingled and interacted with the fan base.
Look at Cohen’s last 3 hires: Canizaro, Moorhead, and Lemonis (who was the 7th person he offered the job to). If you do not think Cohen is a narcasist, you are wrong! We had baseball coaches who turned down the job over minor things they wanted to change and Cohen said no. One of our top 3 choices wanted the artificial turf at home plate removed, and Cohen refused. Who wants to work for someone that is that controlling? Those of you who want to call him the Intense Bastard and think he walks on water have been hoodwinked!!
Also, at what point does Mark Keenum get the blame for not doing a national search for an athletic director? He too pulled a Larry Templeton and hired someone from within with no experience!! By no means am I anti Keenum, but he too needs to be included in this finger pointing!
