There's a group of us taking a roadtrip from Lubbock for the game this year. Where would y'all recommend us staying? We're all middle age men so we don't really care about the nightlife. Thanks in advance.

Pittsburgh it's only n hour away you won't pay inflated rates for hotels which most are sold out anyway often 300 a night 2 night minimums use car service to take you to the game and you can tailgate in the green lot

Yeah it's nearly impossible to get a room in Morgantown and the gouging is out of control. Supposedly the city is going to look at setting limits.

If you want to stay closer to Morgantown and in WV, maybe clarksburg won't gouge as bad. There's also Washington PA. Idk I am guessing.

If Morgantown hotels are full or overpriced try Waynesburg, PA. About 25 miles north of the stadium and it is a nice little town. In Morgantown you will find the usual Hampton Inn, Marriott Courtyard, etc if available. Any hotel in Morgantown with a chain connection should be good, nowhere is very far from anything. It's a great town but not that big that it's hard to get around. Except on game day. Allow at least an extra hour to get anywhere.

Try the Eurosuites. Can walk to the game, tailgate behind the hotel prior. Sports bar next door. Small friendly bar in the hotel. Our group has been staying there since it opened 20 years ago. You are more than welcome to join our tailgate. Send me an email with your contact info. [email protected].
