He's braindead. There's a time lapse video of him in the Senate right before he went to the hospital. He didn't move at all. He sat there endlessly motionless in a trance. Vote after vote. And he was unable to even twitch a muscle. It was disturbing.

And that was before he was rushed to the ER after his heart stopped. They'll drag this out until after the the new year then announce he's either dead or in a permanent coma.

And a non vote by a die hard maga is only a win for the non-magas in Government. Let them drag this out, it's only a win for everyone other than maga

I'd like to know where ALL of the US Senate is right now. Probably at their summer mansions.

The guy beside him does move but it's hard to tell how much time has elapsed. The entirety of the footage of Mitch is a few seconds... this could be that few seconds cut up and spliced in. If there was a camera focused on Mitch for that amount of time... roll that beautiful bean footage. The other footage is pointless except to give the illusion of a lot of time passing.

this situation reflects, to a degree, one of the issues with our Congress. We elect these people and the "seats" become theirs..no longer the peoples. The entire episode is a disgrace. If he can't do his job he should be fired, just like any other employee. But that's not how our system works.

Of course there's politics involved. Republicans don't want an open seat or a special election. So they'll let McConnell ride until as long as possible. they might need his vote
