I am a Democrat. I have also voted Republican. I would put myself between libertarian and liberal.

As for my party, they have sold their soul to the devil. They have been for decades trying to attract a younger following. But those youngsters never vote, so it didn't work. But now, these youngsters aren't "liberals", they are RADICALS and EXTREMISTS with their thoughts and beliefs. They feel pushing their beliefs on to everyone is the right way and use the "liberalism" claim as a mask to hide their true extremist views.

My Democrats are not Marxists or socialists. I think both parties have a little "socialism" in them, but the new younger group of Democrats are flat out nuts with it.
