- 2 wins
- Mass exodus of players (yes, some needed to go)
- Offense has been a joke for 3 years
- CL beat writer routinely trashes the team and gloats about OM while arguing with state fans on twitter
- OM/LSU/Whoever flips recruits at will

Yes there are some positives:
- Defense
- Kicking (of all things)
- Solid QB and couple good WRs signed

Give me 24 hours and I'll be back on to believing next year will be different. But damn, today could've gone better.

We really need to beat Missouri, and look good doing it.

I just don't have it in me to believe our offense will be enough to do more than hang around.

Whether he was viewed as a good coach or average coach, Buckley was loved by players and worked his tail off in recruiting. On top of that, he now has a much more generous banker to back him up on recruits.

All the DL coaches that have put talent in the league are coaching elsewhere. There is not much continuity on the coaching staff now.

Until the current coaches prove they can bring talent to State and develop them into pro prospects, things aren’t in favor of State without throwing money at the prospects that are wanted.

So many have stated it already, this team is completely rebuilding the program and the signs are pointing towards State having gone to look like what Ole Miss did assuming the Offense comes to life eventually but Ole Miss will start building their defense to be better now and as long as Kiffin is there and he or the program aren’t too impatient, they will be up somewhat competing soon. Sounds like there’s a little bit of evidence that either he or the program are being too greedy so it might bite them but the NCAA is a toothless dog with no bite to worry about anymore.

My $0.02 that’s worth about a grain of salt.

We have an amazing AD with a fantastic wife. Top 10 in the country.
Maybe you should go talk to a professional about your obsession with our AD and his wife. They seem to be living rent free in your head.

You mistakenly quoted Dawg when I am sure you meant to quote Lee. This is for Lee...right?

2 wins does hurt but converting an offense with limited senior leadership takes time.
Mass exodus - this is typical when a coach leaves that was the players friend and the new coach re-instills discipline. Yes, many did need to go like after Jackie Sherrill left. I was upset that we lost our starting QB from last year but he couldn't pass the ball well enough to fit with this offense. Chalk it up to growing pains.
The offense will be a joke until the receivers and QB get on the same page. Finding holes in a zone defense versus running routes takes time to develop.
CL writers have always favored Missy over State. Nothing new here so I don't get the concern. The CL sucks and is insignificant.
$$$ win out over hype. Ole Mi$$ and L$U know what it take$ to win recruits over.

100% confirmed John Cohen and his wife read SPS. And apparently has done something to piss off the wife recently.

That would go a long way in putting a positive end on a pretty dismal season and year.
Look forward to a Bowl game and win that and we have great momentum going into Spring football which we desperately need.
