A large majority still here

Just look at posts and view totals on threads

Plus the free boards there are barren

I had a prior membership over there from the last leadership. I tried to do both for while but its such a bad format. Plus its same 3 guys talking to each other in every thread. Might as well just start a group text

I wonder if there’s a troll poster over there who mentions the same game in every post they make too, or if their trolls use different methodologies.

Actually, since the regime change, I do not think I have seen any complaints about the moderators’ officiating.

That has been a big positive.
Back in the day I had a post or two not only removed but changed and then the thread locked,

Ended up looking like Bleem Phuppet.

Lol

I remember those days.

After a particularly painful Indiana game I think, a mod took similar liberties with the op in a thread I posted in, effectively changing the meaning of almost every other post in the thread.

Also, seems to be a lot less (zero) unnecessary confrontation and throwing around of board power under the current mod team.

My Uncle worked for Aaron Spelling and was a Director on Charlie's Angles. Got to go on set and meet the ladies when I was younger. What a day that was.

Who is the chick at the bottom with the yams?

I'm a free board member only, so there isn't really much over there right now for me. I gave it a shot, but the traffic is just solo on there free board because the premium members only post on the premium board.

Over here you got a lot of posts from premium members on the free board because of the community aspect. It's pretty clear that the other site is focused almost exclusively on their premium content and keeping the premium members happy.

As to the technology, I don't mind it. People make it seem like it's 1992 over there, but it's fine.

We'll see what happens when the season starts in earnest.

Both sites took a hit.

Other board format blows which has caused extremely low traffic to the point of forced OT's by the mods themselves.

Traffic on this site took a dip (premium and free) and content has suffered especially on the free board. TBD on the premium content.

Yeah?

I really haven’t noticed a change that much on either of the TKR Boards.

Maybe it's just the dead period of message boards.

Almost everything is OT, and a lot of crappy OT.

So send out a scintillating post on RU football that will excite us. Or at least send out an OT post that isn't crappy. I know you can do it!

It’s pretty obvious. @rutgersal sold out. Though with the lack of vieweship there does he come back here to post his preseason predictions. He feeds off the attention but doubt he will find it over there with no active free board.

@AreYouNUTS looks to be another guy. Though one would think after his public fight and banning from John O a few years ago he wouldn’t be so loyal. I guess a free membership can change anyone’s tune.
This coming from superflame is rich. Guy was bragging that he got comped access to this site for a prolonged period so he thought cheaper to post here.

Who knew all this comping was going on. Lol

Even our own RutgesMo was comped here —a fascinating revelation, made known when he publicly expressed his concern over the status of his comp following the regime change.

Who else? Fanu??? Haven’t seen him in awhile. Lol

Not sure about here but the TOS for certain. It was a business decision. Just not a great one.

I'd be really annoyed if it happened here absent the most extraordinary circumstances.

I think the new mods here have overall been good...a little slow with taking out the garbage but overall good.

I would think everyone would be over the change by now and wait till Festivus to air any grievances they had about the change and how SN treated them while a Rivals site. But some posts in this thread make me think otherwise :p
Missing posters that once were staples on this site when it was SN and now invisible because they spend all their time on TOS
but for some reason some feel the need to celebrate festivous early and proclaim their own brand of

before 12/23 arrives
now for something completely different :

Between the two sites...It is very hard to leave here completely because of relationships with other members. Also very easy to leave because of relationships with members haha
This site is also much easier to navigate and converse with each other. So, it will always be a "go to" site for those that want football info and social interaction.
TOS- some very good posters went over there and they tend to be the content over social type of guys. It is why they have the interesting combination of very little free activity and much more paid activity.
Content on both sites has been very good since the swap but I wonder how that shakes out in a few months from now. I hope the Rivals national guys continue to share as much as they have been but it seems they are starting to get back to their old ways already.
The funny thing with TOS...there are a few guys who like to be blowhards and look at me types that thought their game was good enough to keep up their nonsense over there...it looked like a HS football player taking their first P5 practice with contact.
What that means is the two sites are completely different and both serve good purposes. Posters can pick and choose based on their personality and preference. So, we all now have a place(here or TOS, or maybe both) that we can go and have fun.

He's the guy you got banned for last year under your old name because you stalked and harassed him across multiple boards on this forum.

What are you talking about? You mean BTR has been here before under other names and didn’t just happen to randomly find the board within the last 2 months??? I’m shocked, shocked I say...

That's funny since you, a moderator, have been "stalking and harassing" me on this forum for 2 months. This site's new leadership is great except for one huge mistake: keeping you on board.

e

One of the best posters of all-time. I miss her.

I wonder where this poster ranks in sales. I know I had one. Amazing, the reaction 10 year old me had to high beams. So scandalous! lol
