time for tomorrow’s game ?
I know it’s announced for 2 PM but looks like rain up until about 6 or 7 PM
Would rather see us delay the start vs trying to start at 2 and having rain delays throughout the next 4-5 hours.
Not sure we will do that but seems to make more sense to do so.

The way the forecasts have been going the last couple of days, I think I'd just go ahead and count on a 2PM start with no rain delays. Pretty clear they don't have a 17ing clue what it's going to do.

I love the weather panic people during baseball season. Literally every other weekend we see posts like “WeaTheR nOt lOokInG GoOD foR tHiS WeeKeNd, wE MAy noT Be PlaYInG At aLl!!1!11!” Then every weekend they still managed to get all the games in- usually without any kind of issue. It’s like people crap their pants every time a cloud shows up on the radar. Sometimes we have to sit through a little delay and shift times around, but the games get played barring some kind of monsoon. There has been one cancellation all year, and that was due to dangerously cold weather, not rain.

We spend a bunch of money making sure our field drains as well as it possibly can. We have a great grounds crew and world class turf management. We have a phenomenal meteorology department right on campus. All of the games will be played this weekend. Maybe there will be a delay or two at worst.
