This team folded like a cheap suit last Sunday, too. With a 5 run lead in the first.

IMO, last Sunday we just ran out of pitching.
Today, it was completely different.
Today, our players just seemed to give up.
We are going to be hosting a regional and still have a shot at being a national seed in his first year and you guys are throwing shade his way?

I just made a comment about how the Mac injury today seemed to deflate the team.

We definitely ran out of pitching, but we were useless at the plate like today. TX is really good, but we are better than Butch and Auburn and we had our milk money stolen at home this weekend. How we managed to lose to the pigs, Tenner and now Auburn is just mind boggling. We’d be running away with the conference right now if they could literally TCB.

People get all bent out of shape if you don’t have a rainbow and butterfly mentality. It’s really weird. The bottom line is we folded once again with the most expensive lineup and staff out there this year.
I wasn’t suggesting that we ran out of pitching solely because of the third inning last weekend. My point was that our relief pitching situation was largely the result of who we had already used the previous day, combined with the fact that we relied on four players who had seen very limited innings all season.
Objectively, I think those factors support that conclusion, and it’s not just my perspective—Jay P. made the same observation as well.
I take it you haven't paid much attention to the kind of season Auburn has had against the toughest schedule in the country.

AU is going to be a top 8 seed. They went to A&M and took 2/3 last weekend against one of the best offenses in the league.
They're good. Real good. They’re not in the same class as AR and TN.
Had the same conference record we had today, as well. And we haven’t had a cupcake schedule.
They actually win series against good teams. There's a reason their RPI is 3 now and ours is 12.

9 spots in RPI is hardly a barometer, especially that high. But, you do you and dick ride Cohen and the Barn?
The point is we have the $6 million dollar team and can’t seal the deal against anybody with a pulse. Not exactly encouraging.

You said we were better than Auburn. The numbers said we weren't coming in, and they proved it over 3 games.

I said we lost mind boggling series against the pigs, Tenner and Auburn. We demolished Auburn in game 1 and choked last night in the 9th after battling back. We own the rights to Butch and their program, historically. We have a better overall record and had the same conference record earlier today. Losing a series to a team like that in the situation we are in is inexcusable. I couldn’t even begin to care if you disagree. This is more about this team fading away than it is about how great you think Auburn is. With all our chokes and all their “profound” success, we almost literally have the same record.

No, all you have to do is read your original post and what I responded to. It was very specific to you missing the fact that Auburn is very good and way different than Tn and Arky. That was my only point. Nothing about State. I'm just as upset as anyone about our performance, but that wasn't what I was commenting on.

He is not the best we could have hired. Didn’t even look at Butch. We would be playing Mississippi State baseball with him. Not whatever the heck this was today.
No comments during the national championship season, the 4 year downfall of Lemonis or at any point this season, but all of the sudden baseball is important to comment on.
