if you look at the costs and the insane buyouts for HCs and even some assistants, when does the bubble burst?

Consider the following buyouts and who they are:
Todd Graham-Arizona State over $12 million
Jim Mora-UCLA $12 million
Kevin Sumlin-A& M over $10 million within 60 days
Butch Jones-Tennessee $8.25 million total by approx $200,000 monthly payments til 2021
Jim McElwain-$7.5 million, half due on 12-1-2017 and the remaining half over the years til 2021
Bret Bielema-$5.9 million

I just want to point out Todd Graham has by far the best agent cause he sucks as a coach and always has and still got that kind of contract.

Actually maybe Butch Jones does cause he is not that intelligent (heard him speak & met him a few times-slower than a sled track), was horrible at UT, and all his previous success at the G5 level was really in places where Brian Kelly had done A LOT BETTER (see CMU & UC) and left him good players. Plus they both ran a similar system.

In most of these contracts, the coach can get another coaching job (Head or Assistant/Coordinator) and that doesn't affect the buyout. They don't have to pay any of that $$,$$$,$$$ back to the school that fired them. This along with the INSANE BUYOUTS is why I NEVER HAVE ANY SYMPATHY FOR A HEAD COACH THAT GETS FIRED!!! NEVER!!!! AND I DON'T CARE HOW NICE A GUY THEY ARE!!

My point is there has to be a point where the Universities allowing these insane buyouts giving Golden parachutes to coaches who have not earned anything has to stop.

I'm betting it's gonna happen by 2025 when the current tv contracts run out.
