As much as I hope we go on a massive run, I think the more realistic scenario is we get hot in the big ten tourney with a healthy Dylan. I’m guessing we need 8 big ten wins to make the tournament. That means going 4-6 the rest of the way.

Without Dylan, I think it’s a 50/50 we go 4-6. Wins more likely vs Washington, Minnesota, and USC. Then dogs with the rest but possible.

I’m guessing he’s out for Michigan and Illinois at the least. Anyone have any idea on what’s reasonable?

4-6? I think more like 6-4 and win 2 in the tournament to even sniff a chance
I meant 4-6 to qualify for the big ten tournament. And then we’d have to win the whole thing. With Dylan, we have a chance to win 5 in a row in the tournament l.

He sprained his ankle and then reaggravated it again Saturday. He is going to be out at least 3 more weeks. He needs to fully heal and basketball of all sports needs a healthy ankle. We will be lucky if he is 100% by end of February.
I totally missed the Instagram drama. Caught up now

Depends how much he aggravated it last Saturday (should never have played!!! I was actually thinking that on Tuesday and then when I saw him in warm ups figured no way he will play. I was pissed he was even out there warming up!!! Figured decoy. Shocked when he came in. Horrible decision by Trainers/ Pike! I don’t care how bad he wants to play.

Anyway, if not really bad he can come back in 10-14 days from a sprain with PT. BUT should NOT unless he really is REALLY healthy

Was told that if all goes well, he will be back for the tournament.

I don't think he's coming back. We'll see.

hoping he’s 100% and back on the floor for final home game against USC. That would put him approx 4 weeks removed from MSG

Pike has little control of anything. The players run the show. He's not much of a leader.

This. Nobody here knows the actual extent of the injury nor how he's responding to treatment. My WAG is he misses IL, but is back either for MD (2 weeks post-MSU) or maybe IA on 2/12.
I think earliest he returns is Iowa, or maybe one of the West Coast trip games right after Iowa, Oregon or Washington.

Kind of like when will it snow again. Oh, that’s ‘never’
Never say never - likely stormy and potentially snowy pattern (with some snow, some rain, some mix over several storms) shaping up for the next couple of weeks...

Worried there’s not much reason for him to come back. Team is in the crapper. He’s solidified his position as a lottery pick
and can do more harm than good coming back, especially if he’s not ready. I’m just as worried about Ace shutting it down soon as I am Harper coming back.
