This is obviously a throw away game. Do you really think he will do as poorly against Purdue, Maryland and Penn State? Ohio State will be difficult. That is 2 games out of 12. Simple math says that will not drag his stats down 10 points.

Not Athan's fault. The coaching and development at the lines is awful.
I mean, we had a chance to get something going those first two drives but instead threw five straight incompletions.
Took pics of a couple of route design from upstairs. Kirk is not helping the OL or the qb with many of the long developing patterns, to the field. One playcall in particular had trips to the field with single receiver to the boundary with no outlet if the play breaks down. Each receiver to the field ran layered outs 10-20-30 yards. Took forever to develop and if AK was given the proper time (which he wasn’t). Would have required arm strength to deliver an on time ball. Not a single route was between the hashes.
Watched it again, the Oregon DB was hanging from the front collar of RU WR's Jersey the entire time. Yeah, he stepped out of bounds, but the hanging contact was going on before that. . . . .
This thread from the start was simply ridiculous and it hasn't age well from there!!
AK’s play was bad. He held the ball too long and was playing scared. He has not been the same since Minnie. Also, he needs to run more. When the ball doesn’t come out on time, he is looking to take the sack.
What game were you watching? 19 for 27 for359 yards!! No ints!
Rutgers fans know bad qb play better than most. I'm not at all certain where AK was bad is coming from though. He is light years better than recent qbs.
