we should hire little Wojo. We would get all the ESPN love, could break all recruiting rules and slap the floor in defense.

I watched the game and all I will say is that if Tyler Herro could hit a wide open three, y'all would have won that game. If Herro steps up, UK becomes super dangerous.

Without Herro, this is a really athletic team, with lots of potential, but lacking skill.

Regardless, I still believe that Cal is a very good coach.

Don't come here & make too much sense for our emotionally led fanbase. They have not one objective bone in their body.

Some days you have good points, other days you look like a troll. Little Wojo. Yeah, that’s what we need.

Would you really want him? Why not go after a young hungry coach? I’m glad we got Archie before OSU could!
I want a guy with experience and 2 national titles under his belt... he’s better than Cal.. reminds me of Rick

I want a Dukie as the next coach. But it's Bobby Hurley.
If UK hired any freaked Dookie i would have to call it quits , collage basketball is already taken a big hit in the way I used to feel about it. I mean after those Cheating SOBs at UNCHEAT walked I though you can’t tell me this is a fair system. Now with all the stuff that’s going it it’s just not what it was for me plan and simple.

You are exactly right.

The three worst responses are the worst in this thread. Obviously one is a joke. It should be a permaban saying want and pukie in the same sentence.
the greatest coach in the history of our school is a Jayhawk. The greatest coach in UNC's history is a Jayhawk. That's just a plain dumb way of looking at things. You hire whoever would win. And a former Duke guy who doesn't like K and would want to shove it up his *** I think would be great here. Bobby Hurley ain't some ninny. He grew up old school catholic style in Jersey. A lot of people say that's why K and he didn't get along while he was at Duke and that Hurley always resented he wasn't golden boy Laettner who K favored.

To shove it up it his ***, that would mean him and 50 others would have to crawl out of it first. Show me the article of anything where he says he doesn’t care for k

Overall, the film humanizes Laettner (with him and his family talking on his behalf) while demonizing him as well (you might actually start feeling sorry for Bobby Hurley after watching this). This is a quote from the USA Today article linked and refers to the ESPN 30 for 30 on Laettner where he talks about how K favored him(Laettner) and that they didn't get along and pissed Hurley off K always took Laettner's side.

Also if you read my post a couple up in this thread I said it's not something either side is trying to broadcast. But you want a little more proof. Chris Collins, Johnny Dawkins, Jay Bilas, Wojo, Quinn Snyder, Capel, Tommy Amaker, Nolan Smith, John Schyer, I could go on forever listing the former players who wanted to get into coaching who K put on the bench next to him. Wonder why the best player of any of those guys never got on the bench in the Durham? It's not just because his brothers are coaches and he wanted to work at Wagner College or Rhode Island.

Fair enough, but what’s stopping him from going back to puke after the rat retires?

This should be the order of Barney’s calls the moment Calipari leaves:

1.) Brad Stevens
2.) Jay Wright
3.) Billy Donovan
4.) Mark Few
5.) Tony Bennett

Great post and I agree 100%. Also, Quickley has got to start shooting that open 3 when the defense is sagging on him. I yelled "SHOOT" at him the entire first half. He just wants to stand out there and pound the ball into the floor. Dude must get more aggressive on offense. Frustrating.

Edit: As far as the OP. I couldn't care less who follows Cal here, as long as we WIN. I don't give a damn where they played in college.

If I have time, I’m gonna answer more than one of these ******* posts. Any post which talks about replacing Calipari is just plain *** stupid. We would immediately take 3 steps back which I think is the desire of anyone who starts this Card loving ****!!

There, I feel better already.

The sad thing is that we need a savior from our last savior. Wouldn’t be that way if cal played in the PK 80

I don't think he has any kind of big Duke affinity from anything I've ever heard about him. As far as when K dies who knows, but as long as he is alive he's going to be choosing his successor and it won't be Bobby Hurley.
