My point is we talk and ***** more about the guy who didn't play than discussing the ones who did, that strike you as a little bit odd
Their guards are all tall and we struggled with them. They shot right over us all night rarely missing. What do you think a 5ft8 guy was gonna do.
We needed more shooters and D. Wheeker brings neither. Wheeler played big mins in 7 of those 8 losses so not sure what the point is.
You guys need to jump on the CJ thread. There are some intelligent people on there.

Cason Wallace is a better basketball player than Sahvir Wheeler. He played a really good game today minus those live ball turnovers to begin the second half that really ended the game.
Sahvir has plenty of flaws as we’ve all discussed ad nauseam. But he’s the only player on the roster that can create shots for others.
Instead of the overdone PG talk and bickering it’s pretty simple every big game:
-bad defense
-not great Oscar
-shooters(Reeves and Fredrick) shoot terribly
Rinse repeat for the next Q1 game…next Wednesday night I’m ready!

You are correct. The Wheeler haters had nothing to say about CJ running around on the court doing nothing. They decided to go after Toppins tonight. The game was lost at the very end of the first half when Cal got the senseless tech and the start of the second half when turned the ball over 3 out of our first 4 possessions.
He's more reliable than the people they benched him for. I don't even know why they are on the team lol.
We played zone and toppin didn’t rotate the zone was torched. Pretty obvious these guys have no clue how to play team defense.
With all due respect. We were getting beat at the rim all night. Toppin and Oscar’s spot. Cj was horrid but he wouldn’t have helped in the post. Cj is a role player but cal thought he had some diamond in the rough with him. Cal was once again wrong.

How about giving Adou some of those minutes. Adou has shown us a willingness to attach the basket and not simply run around in every direction except the basket. Also, Adou saw lots of minutes when we beat UT, yet he can't get on the court again. Cal is obviously not a big data guy because if he was he would be looking at who plays when the team does well and he wouldn't be simply looking at points scored and who well someone played defense.

With the paint. He's not gonna guard centers in the paint. That's the least of our worries.
Wheeler does have some things that Wallace doesn't have. That speed, while wreckless at times, can break down defenses.

I agree. I love Cason, but we play too slow with him at the point sometimes because he is young.
